I DID, the update doesn't delete the saves, just corrupts them (Load Game - Corrupted data).

There's no real patch from what I can see but it could be the files that changed from the packed info in the SIM containers to the decrypted data via Steam as numerous files were altered when that happened, to answer the other question you get the bonus comic and soundtrack but the game itself is a direct conversion and apparently does not include any of the console extras like pre-order equipment.

Game looks good but my net is playing up and all these good games just got released Crying or Very sad

Reencodes of the video are sometimes a mess, Prototype's were very blocky
The repacks do take some time to install but 70min sounds a bit long

From what I've seen/read, the game itself is "just" a straight port of the console versions.

The legit version includes a comic book and art cards from creative director Joe Madueira, as well as a soundtrack CD, nothing particularly impressive though Laughing

Sadly no, the game is unplayable with my controller. For some reason it tilts the camera down and doesn't allow remapping.

It did the same to me, but DO NOT copy across the Steamclient.dll from the updated crack, as the original crack did not have it, and you can play with your saves.

EDIT: NVM, just delete "Steamclient.dll" and your saves are back.

Play with M&K then? Imho it isn't that bad.

I haven't been able to get that to work, either. Seems to think there's an XBox 360 controller plugged in even when my Logitech isn't.
I was able to hunt down a 360 controller emulator, though, and it seems to work alright now.

Aye, surprisingly good game indeed, reminds me of Ninja Gaiden. Started playing tonight and didn't manage to stop until Tiamat was down. Cool

Steam had the game at 1.1 when it launched due to a update just before the files were decrypted, initially Skidrow was at 1.0 (Unpacked SIM/SID file data.) and apparently it's not very compatible with savegames if updating (From what one user posted earlier.) but there's no changelog, language selector is just the other language files and not part of the game as such but handy for if a non-English locale is preferred. Smile
(Think most of this is correct anyhow, patch could have been for something else but I haven't checked it to see what it contains, Steam often does any last minute updating before or just after release though as with say Civ 5 from 1.0.7 to 1.0.17 or Worms Reloaded to use two somewhat recent examples.)

game stuck after virgil intro,.. black screen,.. i tried everything, latest fo the latest drivers for graphic card, for motherboard chipset,. latest direct x sdk 500 mb lol,..installed game without updates , and with updates, installed latest windows media player 11,.. i tryed really anything and the game stops after 2 intros,. cant play,.. heeelp ,.. i have ati chipset, my friend has p35 chipset and game works like a charm,.. heeelp

He play on crt monitor me on lcd 19"
