Yup i got one too, but after reading posts here im not really interested in playing it
Hey, here's an idea: Get it and decide for yourself. A few don't like it, and it seems to be being judged as a finished game, but it's in Beta and you might like it. Not everyone is the same, you know.

• Keep your distance mode
• Chase mode!
• More avatar customization options
• Many bug fixes!
Anyone else getting this error from CrashHook.dll? I click PLAY and it pops up this message, something about that file(can't tell proper, cuz it's updating now).
Just checked the new driving physics, honestly, this is much much better. It looks like they actually fixed it in my opinion. It's starting to look like the old TDU again.
Though now it has TDU Casino, and the new chase mode; You can be a cop. It's starting to look like a pretty solid game to me. Especially proving that they CAN fix big problems like handling, they might be able to improve other areas of the game which are still a bit buggy.

You're kidding riight? The handling just SUCKS. Period. And I've no idea if they know what they're doing. Cars simple feel like they're floating, it's just horrible. There's no bodyroll, no weight no nothing. Tho I still like the whole concept, I'm just not quite sure that they'll get the handling right.
Well, I'm not sure if you've checked the update, but the cars seem to have a much better feeling to them. It's atleast better then what they had before, and something they can surely improve on. I'm just saying that as the handling is now (with driving aid off) it's not too bad at least.
yeah they have feeling all right, like a cow skiing on a ice, slippery doesn't mean handling, it's plain bad, either u working for atari/eden or wtv or u just prefer to lie to yourself
this game is far from being finished, imo they need to go back to drawing board, start all over from scratch or just add extra features to the first game, cars, island, sims wtv and use it as it is
lighting, car damage (fkn joke) and dirt effect are all badly implemented
Whatever, I guess Arcade means GT5's level of realism for you. But hey, my opinion is ofcourse not serious at all. I do agree the game could use alot of improvement, but I don't think it's that bad.
I have to agree with DY_DEAD...It's obviously not perfect but the fact they changed so much the handling/physic is reassuring.
There is still a LOT to fix (handling mostly but also the AI(tired of seing them stopping in the middle of nowhere or not starting at the red light) but overally, it's not a bad start ...)
BTW, anyone else has a problem trying to go on dirt roads? i can't go faster than 40km/h.
Also other G27 owner having trouble with clutch (it's not precise enough, it's like the clutch isn't analog)
Because GT5 is an Ultra Realistic racer, it has to have the best physics available to stand for what it is.
Still, you are somewhat right, handling needs more improvements. But I'm hopefull. They have 3 months to fix whatever bugs might pop up. Perhaps even longer as delay would not be much of a surprise.
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
