It's skidrows method to just disable xlive. Because of that i can't even play with my xbox 360 wireless controller. |

I would assume so,yes. xlive would identify that you have a xbox 360 controller plugged in. Without it the, the controller <disabled> in settings, will be disabled.

LIVE is managing the savegames via its API. To fully remove it someone needs to make an emulator like xliveless for GTA4.

Is there a remote possibility that these GFWL games would be compatible with Hamachi, Tunggle or the likes? If not, then I'll probably start it solo rather than waiting for someone to co-op.

Only if Tekno releases new dll, and they do it on regular basis, so yes.

I hope ther will be a good loader for it. Some 1 should change in exe of DR2 xlive.dll version. When i will put xlive.dll from for ex. gta iv i have error: Please use DR2Launcher.exe to start the game. But i am starting game from this file Oo

Heh, SSA (Server-side authentication.) so it shouldn't, however Tunngle override or the like (Regedit some override for LIVE network preferences.) as with other LIVE titles might work once that xlive.dll hack is modified a bit for that 30 ms limit force disconnect block.
(Or something like that as far as I've understood it.)
EDIT: So it was removed altogether, interesting method.

If it's some publically uploaded crack only it could be a fake or even a trojan unless you use a trusted source or what to call it, can't think of anything else that could affect it unless you missed some file.
(I don't have it but there might be more than just DR2.exe or what it was called again.)
EDIT: This should be easy, it's the exe, launcher and xlive.dll modification.

Maybe trex_luk can upload for us all his files exe, etc. And we will try to copy Skidrow crack ?? Maybe Games for Windows Live will work ;/?
Why they blocked it in the crack !? I don't get it

The launcher doesn't pass on it's own after testing so the xlive.dll file assists it somehow though it kills LIVE as well when run that way (Similar to XLiveless for GTA IV in a way.), saves properly now though but I guess MP functionality won't work at all instead for those wanting to play it that way.
EDIT: As Mark said it could also affect other LIVE functionality but that's just a guess.

Virus scanner or something active in the background? you'd probably get a prompt about any activity though but the xlive.dll file probably registers as a virus or trojan for certain applications when you start DR2Launcher.exe.
(You're not starting DeadRising2.exe directly are you, I use the original unmodified exe as all that's needed is the .dll and launcher though I don't think Skidrow modified the main exe.)

nope, xlive.dll is blocking to open GFWL window. In other games live is oppening. So they just blocked it ...

i installed both 64 n 32 c++ as u told.but now itz taking time blackscreen den again crash without any error messages.never faced such kind of problems.
and i m using eset which is disabled.n using ati 5850

Yeah LIVE doesn't allow the DR2Launcher.exe bogumil so I think that's why Skidrow used this approach unless there are newer checks and protection things at work.
(I have no idea but it seems likely unless the "launcher" is just a loader which then gets caught by LIVE as it's not proper or is modifying the exe, that's also very likely.)
EDIT: Strange, I'll test some other approach then.
EDIT: Placing a copy of msvcr100 in the game folder as posted below would perhaps work as a last resort.

So can anyone confirm that 360 controller DOESN'T work with Skidrow's release? I use my PS3 controller + MotionInJoy's 360 emulator profile.
