Doesn't work, as far as I can see.
Map is ok, but there are bunch of texture errors whens starting the game, and at leader selection Babylonian part is garbled.

So I guess something is encrypted and prevents some files from loading properly.

Using skidrow version.

EDIT:
Actually, nothing is encrypted, it's just that in that download there is no any graphics data for Babylon. It only has sound assets and gamplay data assets.

it said i had latest on install went back to resources and reinstalled anyhow and then redid repair on 2008 c++ and recopied over crack files and it works.. but

i get this which is odd, fullscreen mode is like window fullscreen no taskbar shows when off clicking to 2nd screen to chat in msn.. if i put window mode on ( untick fullscreen option) doing the chat on other screen in msn make the taskbar show, but in each case game still full and running and hear it..

its like its not letting me have proper full dx switching fullscreen ...verified on mates pc on msn that his does minimize "click down" out of dx fullscreen when he clicks on his other screen.

Thing is, how does the game know it's not user modifications? How does it tell between a user-made map/civ and a DLC map/civ?

Well, it doesn't go into mods folders, but in its own dlc folder.

And as I mentioned before, it actually "works", but is buggy since all graphical data is missing.

EDIT:
I'm not 100% sure, but I think I noticed something Babylonian in "resource" folder when browsing civ5 demo. But since I already deleted it, I can't check. And most of art resources are located there in fpk format.

Skidrow version.

With just data posted in one of the links above, it "works", but there are constant pop-ups that some texture/image or similar data is missing. And anything graphical related to Babylon is garbled. So it's not really "playable".

But things like text descriptions, narrator voice at startup, and similar stuff work.

P.S.
I'll try now to grabs that Arctic0ne torrent and pry off those resource files that are missing for Babylon.

I understand now Smile The same goes for the deluxe content torrent listed over at PB. I added a comment saying it was missing the art files so maybe the uploader will correct it. We'll see.
i am on the bought standard version and havent been able to get the DLC to work.

I haven't yet downloaded that Arctic0ne torrent, but I'm at 38% which was enough to look at its contents and see which files are in it.

In resource folder there are 3 sub-folders (common, dx9, dx9_low). Each of them has one extra file, not present in skidrow release. All starting with Babylonian in name.

To clarify, following things are missing:
resource\Common\BabylonianModels.fpk
resource\DX9\BabylonianNebuchadnezzarTextures.fpk
resource\dx9_low\BabylonianNebuchadnezzarTexturesDX9Low.fpk

So. For shits and giggles I played the tutorial map and within not even 100 turns I wiped the over civ of the map.
So I kept playing thinking I could check out some of the units / wonder etc without being bothered.
Now I tried building the spaceship. Built all the parts. And now?
The civilopedia says I gotta assemble the ship at my capital but how? O.o
Moving all parts into the city obviously doesn't work and now I got no clue.
Does it only work before you already won the game?
So if you keep playing the game won't let you built the spaceship anymore?
I am severly confused.

Any chance you could upload those files when your done?
I'm going to see if it works if I put the files in corresponding folders instead of the DLC folder.

As far as I've seen, you can create/host lan game, but I'm not sure if it does any good. Have no other computer to test it.

Seems Hamachi doesn't work, but Tunngle (or whatever) does. Can't confirm, though.

By the way, I'm having problems with downloading mods from the Mod Browser. I downloaded Queen of the Iceni (Celtic civilization), but when I try to install it, it apparently fails. The install button disappears and the mod doesn't appear on the Installed Mods list. I wonder if this happens to legit users as well.

^there is workaround for that.

Go do MODS folder inside civ5 documents folder, and you'll see some files with strange names there. One per each mod you downloaded.

Change their extension to zip and unpack them. Make folder with same name as file with modinfo extension, and put all files unpaked from archive there. After that, game will see mod properly as installed, and you'll be able to turn it on or off.

Did that, but the mod still doesn't show as correctly installed.
