Works great. Anyone tried LAN+Hamachi yet?
Can't see my friends in the lobby, even though we've adjusted the network adapter priority accordingly.

Surely, it must be possible to add the Babylonian civilization to the Skidrow release?

If the above won't work on it's own you will need Skidrows modified steam_api.dll or what they use and possibly also their exe to bypass the authentication check in order to use DLC content, I think that's how it worked at least, somewhat unsure if it can be done in any other way.

And that pack does have the preorder maps or it's just the DLC?

It's the pre-order extras what that might be I don't fully know, some civilization, one world leader and one map or something like that, other packs I do not have but they will probably appear separately for sale in a while as usually happens.
(Minus soundtrack and making of video to save 900 MB.)

Well, I suppose you just copy sounds to the corresponding folder sounds in the main directory, gameplay to gameplay, you put the map into the maps folder and it should be ready to go?

Preorder Maps
Amazon.com / Amazon.ca
Cradle of Civilization Map Pack: Asia - "The Indus River valley was home to the early Harappan civilization while the Yellow River valley in China saw the rise of the earliest Chinese dynasties. Both these regions are included on the same map."
Walmart
Cradle of Civilization Map Pack: The Americas - "Although civilization blossomed later in the western hemisphere, the region from Peru in the south to Mexico in the north was just as important as an incubator for the development of ancient cultures.
This map spans this rugged area of jungles and highlands."
GameStop / EB Canada
Cradle of Civilization Map Pack: The Mediterranean - "The period of Classical Antiquity saw the rise of city states from Phoenicia, Greece, and later Rome and Persia.
Their struggles all centered on the great sea in the 'Middle of the Earth,' hence the name Mediterranean. This map covers the entire Mediterranean basin including the nearby peninsulas and coasts where these great empires grew and prospered.
Steam
Cradle of Civilization Map Pack: Mesopotamia - "This is the traditional Western and Middle Eastern 'Cradle of Civilization.' It includes the Fertile Crescent, with the Nile River valley to the west and extending east down the Tigris and Euphrates river valleys to the Persian Gulf."
So we are missing three. From what i recall the preorder maps will be gathered in a paid DLC for people that missed the preorder campaign (dummies like me). Also the Babylon DLC will be sold sometime in the near future, 2k making it available for the same people that missed the preorder. No word yet when the events will happen.

That's what I thought if you have the modified files (Skidrows release? but didn't it have issues with DLC not loading? or was that something else.)
Unsure how it all works but it's all packed and should be proper though I don't know how it would load into the game, it does need a modified Steam_Api.dll at least to get rid of that check similar to the Mafia2 DLC and others but I don't know the specifics, I just had the files and thought they might be useful.
(There's a full release isn't there though? entire pre-order bonus at 900 MB or so.)
EDIT: Unsure about the rest of the content, nothing I have but it will most likely be made available later as 0.99 or so (It's just pre-made maps after all minus this civ.) or something so should spread then.
(I'm not much for DLC and all sorts of stuff is spread around for a variety of games now along with those update rips I tend to upload but if problems arise I'll remove the links of course, these won't work just like that most likely and nothing is altered or cracked as such but the making of video and soundtrack is gone to preserve filesize, get the full package release instead by that "Fairlight" group as they called themselves whoever or whatever group did it if it's real.)
(Not much for DLC strategies like those in Mafia 2 so I'll help if I can but there isn't really that much I can do.)

If they sell the maps at a decent price, i'll get them. Otherwise, I'll live without it. But I'm starting to hate this pre-order/DLC stuff...Heavily, i might add:(

I dont think its that easy, did you try it ?
As JBeckman says you may need to use the modified steam_api.dll to remove the checks. Anyone have a copy of this file they can upload so I can give it a shot?
Forgot to add, the map of mesopotamia works with my bought version if you put it in the maps folder.

Can you look into that a bit more, drewdrops?
The game apparently takes your Steam alias as a name even if you play LAN. Meaning, if I try to host my name is SKIDROW and I fear that the name's somewhere in their cracked dll.
Can't try Tunngle right now, but I'd imagine multiple people with the same alias might cause problems..?
