Announcement trailer for Team 17's latest outing into the Alien Breed franchise. Alien Breed 2: Assault. Complete with new epic storyline and a brand new game mode, Alien Breed 2: Assault is due to hit the digital shelves this Wednesday (22nd September 2010).
That "cutscene" looked TERRIBLE.

Been waiting for Episode 2 for months now! I'm not buying it, not after what T17 did to those of us that bought it on the 360, but I'm still gonna grab it once there's a Skidrowrepackshit
AB-Impact (or Evolution, as it was originally called) is actually remarkably fun. It's not truly "Alien Breed", the atmosphere has gone completely from the first games, but the gameplay and combat itself is like Shadowgrounds =)
Either, they're both pretty identical.. though with the enhancements in Impact over Evolution (fuck you T17, fuck you hard) I'd say it was closer to Shadowgrounds Survivor. If you've not played the Shadowgrounds games; DO SO!
It's chapter 2 in that serie, takes place right after Impact.
(Chapter 3 is planned as well based on the file names and extras provided, haven't completed it.)
