Nice extras via that installer archive that gets added to the game, artwork (a comic series.) and full soundtrack, might be interesting to check out. Like it so far but just started playing so that doesn't say much.

Get a faster HDD? Install was 5-10 minutes here, perfectly normal. TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle." "...like nothing else on television." "a phenomenon." It's only copying files as far as I can see, so it shouldn't take that long. I didn't keep track of the time here, but it wasn't really long. The bonus comic helps explaining the story but it is more of a hack & slash game with light RPG elements, similar to say the gameplay in Devil May Cry and probably also God of War. Will continue later, need to finish stuff like Nehrim first but that's going to take a while.

Any idea why I get the "infinite falling" bug right after the first mission ? The screen is all black with the character endlessly falling in the middle. I hear the Devil telling me that my sword awaits me but I can't do anything. Tried all the controls, tried restarting at the beginning, rebooting my PC to no avail.

I don't agree that the graphics are PS2 like at all! It looks nice and crisp and luckily still playable on my laptop . I am a sucker for Maduira art though, his all Supersize Everything. No crashes as of yet. The CAPS-Lock + number keys for special powers sucks ass bigtime though...and no way to change it either.

For you guys that get black screen on startup check if some third party video filter is being loaded. The game videos use DirectShow to play. So if you have CCCP or whatever (i have ffdshow set to prompt me for each app its being loaded into) try disabling that and see if it helps. Asus, B550, 3700X, 3060, 32GB.
