bahhhhh....Greg Hastings' Tournament Paintball was wayyyy much better than this crap...atleast in GHTP the guns dont looks like a Super Soaker 3000

i installed game, copied crack, launched game and got a problem what could be wrong? solved the problem by deleting Gotcha!\GMedia\Videos\Intro03.mpg

I stand by what I said on the demo thread of the game (shown below) having now played the full retail, graphics are slightly better than the original version of unreal tournament so runs very smoothly, the constant screeching by the players gets annoying fast and the music is horrible. Dont get me wrong it isnt all bad has alot of different game modes and maps but compared to something like Unreal Tournament 2003 - 2004 in terms of options/maps and every other aspect of the game it pales in comparision both in quality and quantity. If this game were a paintball game then I wouldnt even bother to compare it to Unreal Tournie but as I said below the feel of this game is very much standard deathmatch/team deathmatch/ctf none of the well implemented functions that set Greg Hastings apart as a paintball game are in this and as such it comes across as a mediocre paintball mod for unreal tournament.

May be worth grabbing to play on Lan with mates but why bother playing this when there are so many other good multiplayer deathmatch style games around.

Gotcha.Proper-NOGRP Proper Reason: There was an error when starting the game, this was not due to crack, but due to an intro movie. This problem is fixed now, you now have some seconds black screen between last movie and start of the game.

if you grabbed first version and have error when starting game, here is solution.
Delete Gotcha!\GMedia\Videos\Intro03.mpg and thats all.

Here's a little review from what i played so far. First i didnt get any crash in the game as it was mention earlier. The game is entertainning, of course its not has nice as Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball but still a good game. The GFX looks like a Value game and the characters movement are kind of cheesy...what do you expect . I'll prefer having "real" paintball gun...this is more like a futuristic piant guns. The thing that really annoy me is when you "kill" someone he goes transparent but you can still see him so its confusing...and sometimes they even continue walking so you end up shooting on a dead man while a live one is shooting you from the back. Whe you die, you can take control of one of you other teamates. Overall this is a game that will keep me going for a while. When you win you get money and you can buy new guns for you and your team and skill levels for you and your teammates. oh and i forgot...the multiplayer is working..but so far all i see is german rooms so maybe we'll see more english rooms from people who got this release. I was the same as Kommando didnt have an error with the original release of this, only probs I noticed was that the windows start menu/taskbar seemed to stay in the foreground whilst the intro movie was playing then when it went to the game menu I couldnt select anything - just pressed cntrl alt del to bring up task manager and alt tabbed to give me access to the game and make it the program that was running in the foreground which in turn gave me access to the game menu - problem solved.
