Muny21, college graduate genius who is currently studying for his law degree (apparently...) and his thoughts on why drk||Raziel, the primary coder behind such enterprises as NullDC and PCSX2, is a half-assed coder who releases useless trash.

That MTW dude is giving me a serious case of the red-eye. What the fuck is his problem? GamerSuper has done the PS3 community a MASSIVE favour .. who cares if little coding was required? The fact that he's done it is more than worthy of kudos. MTW makes all these grandiose claims, yet produces nothing ... GamerSuper never says a word and then boom; PSP on PS3.

What's the purpose of this tool? I don't get it. Is it just an FTP client that connects to the buggy PS3 FTP server?
By the way why does everyone complain about the unstable, buggy server but no one programs a stable one? Shouldn't this have first priority?

Because, sadly, the whiners and complainers are in the majority.. with the coders being in the minority. That and people are too scared to use the leaked PS3 SDK due to legality issues .. and the newly-released open source tool chain is, well, crap in comparison.

Hello everyone! Been watching this topic since the page 1. Now is the time to say my word. Got my teensy from pjrc.com this wednesday just after 1 week after they send it. Got it nicely working in just a minute.
But here me now friends, can someone help me to get the ps3 FTP server working? Is there a specialist around who can point me in right direction what should i configure and how to get it done ?
I use win 7 and Filezilla like just in the guide in http://www.ps3hax.net/
I pinged my ps3 in cmd and got the 4 of 4 packets received. But my result in filezilla is ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server.
My ps3 is connected to router Telewell TW EA-510 v4.
Help, Sabin, anyone ??

Wild guess "router firewall needs to be configured" or "personal firewall". Other than that I have no idea sorry.
