You'll be able to buy the pass for msp's just like bf:bc2

I'm guessing ranked games / clubs / lobbies will all need the pass , I assume there will be some free content like exhibitions though

I think you might be right, but it will only be 1 vs 1 and none ranked. I might be wrong though but it doesn't actually say on EA's site.

It does say however that you'll get the following...

•All online matchmaking features.
•Create, invite, and join online clubs.
•Online player hub stat tracking.
•For the first time ever, participate in true 11v11 Online Team Play where you and 10 friends can compete against up to 11 other gamers online.
•Ability to download created content from the new Creation Centre Beta found at www.easportsfootball.com/creationcentre

Personally, I'll buy it so I'm not overly fussed and failing that, it's not exactly expensive.

wondering when we will get this for ps3. sort of scene release maybe even before the official date?

it's rather hard to judge if teams are going to focus on getting ps3 out early for me, your opinion?

we might not get this at all if its forces new FW. Hope not. As far as release go we might get it in EU earlier than release date as its out 2 days before in US.

If not Im going to buy it, dump it and then sell it in the same day )

Imo, chances are this game won't include any 3.42 as I'd guess its either gone gold, or very much close to it.

I'd be happy with either a 360 release or a ps3 release, presuming they're using the Fifa 10 engine (tweaked perhaps) then both versions are virtually identical.

How is this new FIFA if compared to FIFA 10?

Do the Pro Passing/Personality+ really affect the gameplay or is it more or less the same game as the last year?

I'm quite curious since the PC version is a straight port of FIFA 10. Wink

First impressions? There is nothing, absolutely nothing here that tells me I should part with an extra £15 - £20 and give up things like mods! I'm going to run both side by side now, going from one machine to the other, but so far - lagging aside - the games are identical. Only difference is I'm having more of a challenge - probably because of the ability on PS3 demo to select higher difficulty levels.

Ha that's practically what I expected, and even though this feedback is a little bit drastic, I'm pretty sure that it's definitely not so far from the truth Razz

There's a handful of new animations, a slightly slower pace and probably a more difficult approach to play on full manual with low-skilled players, but overall the differences between the two versions seem quite minimal.

Defending has improved as far as jostling for the ball is concerned, and the new passing system (which is in the PC version I believe) is welcome as you have more control over power than PES... but other than that I didn't notice anything particularly new and was left unimpressed by the console version. The players all played the same as usual - I didn't notice any 'personality' or attribute-based gameplay, but in fairness I have to say I only played the demo twice where I played the PES demo around 10 times. I have to say I'm not a fan of the 'treacle' movement, the penalties, or the team management UI either.

The PC version meanwhile, based on screenshots posted here, looks amazing now it's finally in high resolution, but since I've already played FIFA 10 to death it doesn't excite me. Maybe if you skipped the game on consoles it'll be different for you. Still, the demo of FIFA 11 only shows so much, they have new features and refinements within game modes, and you know online is going to be a blast as always... so if supermarkets do a £25 deal I won't have any choice... but for now I'm actually thinking PES is the one to go for.

Thanks you Ispep for the feedback Wink .
After having watched some gameplay videos, my impression was that FIFA 11 wouldn't have been a revolution, but only a slight refinement of the already good FIFA 10, and seems that I was correct. The PC version doesn't have any of the new features such as the Pro-passing or Personality+, but on the other hand there's a concrete chance to see a lot of graphical/gameplay mods in a short amount of time, since the community is very alive despite the disappointing FIFAs released during these years.

PES has seen a great improvement this year, managing to finally drop the arcade pace introduced with the 2008 version, but FIFA 11 PC is definitely my choice this year. Smile

inmho pes is awful again, clucky gameplay, too many fouls and if you watch some of the fouls, I had about 6 in as many games, the collision programming is miles off. Players are falling over in takles where there is no contact and zoomed in there is a clear 6" gap. Sloppy at best

After playing the fifa demo a few more times.
I must admit.
The improvement in crossing especially and the improvement of feeling like you have hold of the ball is great.
Makes the game so much more complete.
Miles better from fifa10.
