My list of 20 people from NFOHump is pratically always empty except for 1-2 users who play it on daily basis, but in general the game is actually very alive and kicking.

Take a look here just for having an idea:

Yes, but expect a very linear experience with an uninspired plot and an average longevity of 5 hours of play...

Still, it's free, so why not? Very Happy

We basically don't know anything, so the only variable that influences BF3's awesomeness is whether the game will be publisced on consoles or not.. Razz

I am not sure if it is even remotely reasonable to think that it won't be published on consoles. There's just no way DICE is gonna drop the console release on a major title like that. I am surprised that there are so many people still hoping for that to happen (based on the comments I keep seeing in other places).

I could see them not going for the consoles right away if they were after something like BF:Heroes, or perhaps some sort of a subscription based MMO shooter, but not with a typical "blockbuster" MP FPS game.

on the pc it wont suport dx9 either and will only be 64bit

One sitting? What you played all day long? O.o

I'm playing it for 3 days now, I think I'm nearing the completion.

The game looks really good, similar to MW2 but better graphics, and longer play.

I love the stories in these kinda games (they always get screwed grinhurt)

I played it on hard, as any other game, its just run n' shoot, u need 5hrs max, but if u admire the graphics and play with gl and walls then yes, it will took u longer

Why is it (in these games) that Russia always invades USA?

I played it on hard and it took me about 4 hours and 30 minutes to finish it Crying or Very sad

But if you're into online FPS you should really buy a cheap key and try it, the multiplayer part is where the game truly shines Smile

I loved the single-player campaign, it was humorous and gorgeous to look at. I loved the MP at first but I don't know, I just find a couple of rounds 'exhausting' if that makes any sense. It's non-stop; move, shoot, die, cap, sprint, place charges, die, die, run...

I think it's because I'm getting older but I just can't be bothered.

it's been known for quite some time it will have 4 maps, new guns, unlockables etc. If the price will be similar of that of MW2 packs I probably buy it, as there's more content than in those MW2 packs.
