Plays nice but seems to go into really low fps in the replays and celebration scenes, doesn't seem to matter what resolution or quality settings i have it set to. Animations and atmosphere are obviously better than PES, i would like to get a football game to play online and i think FIFA is slightly winning for me at the moment (Also PES lobby system was horrible, i wouldn't buy PES unless they drastically improved the online system)

Yeah, let's hope that some kind of unlocker comes up in a few hours
edit: I've selected the PES-alike control settings (the non-standard ones) and I'm enjoying the game a lot more than before, though the difficulty set on amateur is a shame. |

got some weird bug. When I get the ball with any player the first touch is a diagonal push to the left down corner. If I stop after that the player wont move by himself anymore so it shouldnt be my controller problem. for example if i pass to my goalkeeper and the goal is left of him, he just pushes the ball a bout 2m towards the goal before standing still with it thus causing an own goal. Its really fuckin annoying.

Semi-manual is the golden middle, automatic is a bit to easy once you master the game on harder difficulties.

Just tried the demo,although Im playing it on x360...demo for PC is fantastic,better visuals,runs super smooth and shits all over PES 2011.Game is simply superb in every aspect..Last FIFA I was playing on PC was 2002..from that time till now I was only PES player,this year is different..after 8 years FIFA is the way to go for me this time.
Im also glad PC gets this game,quality football game at last...but Im still angry at EA for not including same stuff as console versions this year.

Aye, the full manual system is not recommended for noobs like us  , but it's where the game truly shines in my opinion. It gives to the player a never experienced sense of freedom, and surely it appears to be more complex and unique than PES 2011.
I'd say that the actual PES' passing system is equivalent to FIFA's semi manual control. |

It crashes on startup.....
Any idea?
Tryed with all resolution, v-sync on/off, MSAA no, 2x and 4x....always crash....
My spec: i7 930@4Ghz (rocksolid), 6 Gb ram, Radeon HD 5970 (catalyst 10.8, the last), Windows 7 64 bit....
Help?

Nothing I can think of...
I have an 5970 as well and tried the game with catalyst 10.8 and 10.9 and had no issues.

Try to start the game from the install folder and not from the shortcut on your desktop. Helped for me.

dont like it. nice animations but the rest is atrocious. made for americans who dont know shit about football and only watch it on tv .. a few matches every 4 years or something.
i feel like an 8 year old playing it

Got it running at a steady 60fps with 4xAA and V-sync on my Phenom II 3Ghz. Seems fine to me.

Obviously you played it using the standard assisted mode 
Also did you realize that the difficulty is set on amateur?
Change your controls to full manual and enjoy the game, and wait for a fix/unlocker that will allow to play at a higher difficulty.

You either have a prehistoric PC or you're simply experiencing the joy of free trolling 
The game runs at 60 fps on my Core2Duo e6600, 2 GB ram and a 4870.
