I swear in RL in a company of known people if I know it wouldn't cause them discomfort or they are swearing too. Among unknown people I am very good mannered  , though from time to time occasional slip-ups happen

i don't swear alot but i do use the N word an awful lot irl, I dunno why but working around europeans you seem to hear it an awful lot and now i've started picking up on it... very bad habit

problem with a lot of swearing, is that it becomes less effective over time. Society has got so used to it that even pretty heavy words such us c*unt looses it's power, which is used regularly in many less socially mobile parts of the UK.
My parents never swore, I guess you would describe them as part of the 50's gentle class. As a consequence I'm the same, and tend to swear, only when I'm really frustrated and fed up.
I think constant loud mouth swearing, says more about an individuals weakness to control their emotions, and is a naturally alienating thing to do. This can only be to a persons detriment.
It takes a strong will and good manners to resist the temptation to do it, two virtues which were all much weaker for letting slip from our daily lives.
OK, some of you might think I sound like a pompous prick, maybe I am. I guess I believe that some values are worth holding onto, and generally makes life easier.

I swear way too much. Trying to cut down. I used to charm old ladies with my broad language then got around nasty folks and started cussing a lot. :\

depends on the company im keeping... but usually I swear all the fucking time, at work, at home and when im out. it's something ive been around for a long time, my parents swear :/
