Destroy destructible objects to be a bit precise, the beam supports, bar contents and chairs plus the paintings in particular come to mind. Smile
(And the bartender or else he'll leverage up a shotgun, funny how all of those situations will be the guy just standing there and aim with it while you get a headshot on him and instantly "disarm" the dude.)

yeah i dealt with it on my own, had to shoot those glassy covers? (don't even know how to call them) opposite side to the bar, stupid if u ask me, they could've gave u a bomb/dynamite so u can bomb the damn place instead of shooting at the walls, grenades don't do much damage in this game

i just beaten the jimmy's vendetta dlc. stats:

game progress: 100%
playing time: 04:07:27
city score: 3991
story score: 1132048

anyway, not bad. there're just way too many driving. Sad i need quick jumps to the mission. it would have taken only an hour or so to beat if not for all the driving. Smile

A mod caused this to happen but on the other hand made the car damage mechanic more dynamic, unsure what else could be causing it.

Now as I got a proper PC I can try out mafia 2. And iv heard 2k are some greedy bastards when it comes to DLC. And just downloaded jimmy's vendetta. And wow... are they really taking money for this? I mean... next to no cutscenes. Really feels like a ripoff. Good news is it runs smooth as a mofo Smile So hope there will be some cool mods in the future Smile

the missions are pathetic, you gotta steal 20 cars, destroy same cars at the docks and so on

It sooo looks like this DLC was part of the main game then they basically just changed the character and added that lame prison escape. It's fucking insulting and I'm a happy pirate.

Milk-truck also changes around a bit more when tuned as does the half-truck or what those are called, while not as elaborate as say SR2 in terms of customization it's a nice touch but it would be fun to mod the other cars to be accessible for similar alterations.
(Police car would probably be the more obvious one or the armored van, most others are trucks or hotrods which might not work that well.)

(DLC cars also work nicely and some sports models even use different decals from the standard pack though one or two original cars also does this, thunderbolt and those two other ones.)

EDIT:
(Using the horn by pressing E even sends out a little melody.)

I noticed some new custom paint jobs you can get with the Vendetta DLC. as well as the supercharger, but are there any hot rods you can get like in the one vanilla mission?

If you upgrade a Shubert 38 to level 3 you get a hotrod. Forgot the other vehicle that does that.

You mean it will convert to one of existing hotrods from greesser pack or just became a good car and looks like hotrod?

In fact its not impossible to get hot rod without greeser pack http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/mafia2/show_msgs.php?topic_id=m-1-56157793&pid=942955 .

If you tune Shubert 38 it looks almost exactly like a hotrod from vanilla mission, do it yourself.

I don't just mean the supercharger, the actual bonnet gets removed and stuff.

I would assume he most likely meant the comparison for the "factory" placed hotrods (Well hotrod since you only get one.) for when you attack the "greaseball" gang in that particular mission.

DLC cars are more or less in a class of their own, several normal cars are faster but the DLC vehicles have unique visual styles and other extras (Durability, handling and so on.).
(Though they can be tuned further and adjusted in vehicle upgrade garages as well.)

Of course since it's not possible to stash that specific hotrod and you must sell it Greaser pack is the only way to get that particular vehicle and that half-truck like hotrod thing.
(Similarly to how the Army pack is the only way to get a jeep, other packs add more unique vehicles like the Futura or GP300.)

EDIT: That said for real style you need to tweak out the Milk-truck or Hearse wagon. Very Happy
(Haven't checked the 38 yet, not seen many aside from the 40's period and you only get basic tunic aside from LUA script there.)

(Come to think of it stashing the 40's cars to tune them when in the 50's might reveal other interesting stuff, I only have the 42 Jefferson and lucked out and got a 69 Lassiter though, will have to try that sometime later on when replaying.)

(Wonder if it's even possible to tweak some of those old 30's vehicles at all, would be fun.)
