I FTP'd Modnation to the internal last night and it loads normally. From initially botting to getting to the main menu takes about a minute which is about right apparently. From the external it takes almost 4 minutes. It's strange because all of the other games that I have that work load fine from the external. I wonder if this is a problem with the BM.

I am actually curious if you can (like in the xbox days) rip all the shit you dont want from games (IE. other Eu Languages, Update folder) and still have it boot.
I may have a play about later and see.
Anyways other than that, am I the only one getting pissed off waiting for older games to come out

Hack your PS3 w/ an Xbox 360 USB SPI NAND Reader
Real quick ‘cuz I’m out the door… Xbox hackers, if you own an Xbox 360 USB SPI NAND reader with the 12Mhz crystal, then you too can hack your PS3. Everything you need to know is right here courtesy of Looouky.
A shout-out to ElSemi who has ported PSGroove to the PIC18F-series chip… Without that I don’t think this particular hack would be possible.

hmmm picking up on another comment.
if i boot a game thruogh jb etc - does the game ask "there is an update availble - do you want to install" like on x360 - if so, can you update from game disks? or does this cause problems?
thanks

Does anyone know how to block the ps3 from accessing the PSN but still have it active on the network?

@rmfx: just enter ip for the ps3 manually and set gateway/router and dns to fake values. i.e. 1.0.0.0
anyone tried deleting useless languages of a game already? does it work afterwards?

Not alot of detail there though, no pictures, and the seller hasn't sold anything in months which means it's MAY be a hijacked account.
Proceed with caution... (i've made an offer of £20)
