Inb4 "because of the great sales success of amnesia on the pc, we have teamed up with *insert big greedy corp name* to develop our next game also on the PS3 and xbox 360.
To help our game appeal to the wider market and to enhance what we have already created we will be including a regenerating health system and psychic super powers to help ward of the foes"

Corsair 750D :: 750W DPS-G:: Asus x370 PRO :: R7 1800X ::16gb DDR4 :: GTX 1070::525gb SSD::Coolermaster 240MM AIO::
I pre-ordered this game a long time ago. It's a PC game through and through and the developers deserve to be rewarded. I really hope you guys buy this game instead of pirating it.

Only played for about an hour and a half and was intrigued but kept thinking that the game needed a map...and that the insanity stuff and blurry graphics is annoying as fukk. Whens the game's scary factor ramp up?
.. but kept thinking that the game needed a map ..
It doesn't need at all. The presence of a map will just ruin a part of the experience. The point is to feel you're lost and stuff like that. It adds up to the whole atmosphere of the game.
Gotten stuck.. pretty far into the game ( I think. )
Spoiler:
I'm at the level where you find Agrippa affixed to some sort of device, but I have no idea how to progress here. I have the wooden crank, hammer & chipper, chunk of meat, wooden bucket of tar and an empty glass bottle in my inventory, what to do? I've tried going to the "next" level, but doesn't seem to be much there...

Spoiler:
There is a small alcove with a torture table right next to Agrippa. Stack some boxes on the table and open the trapdoor which is directly above the table. Manipulate the gear into place and go up to the room where there are 2 levers. Those levers open the 2 large doors located in the same room as Agrippa.
Just finished the game, hopefully Frictional Games will find themselves a publisher soon, Paradox comes to mind, they stand true to PC gaming.
As for my ending:
Spoiler:
Alexander opened a portal to a different realm and escaped, which left a pretty sour taste in my mouth, but a good game nontheless, is there other endings? I guess you get something entirely different if you manage to free Agrippa... can anyone write down their findings so far?
Seems to be lke271tyr299odn314 and once you get all endings.

After you beat the game and witness all three endings you'll get the password for the super_secret.rar archive. Within it you'll find concept sketches, game design documents, videos showcasing early builds of the game and three entries from Herbert's Lost Diary, in text and audio format.

Unknown=Amnesia

Target platforms
The main platform for Unknown will be the PC (and Mac/Linux if wanted) as it’s the platform we have the most experience for as developers. Xbox 360 is also a possibility and Frictional Games is already a licensed Xbox 360 developer. Due to previous ports to both Mac and Linux the engine is very portable and developing for several platforms is something we are very comfortable with.

The types of weapons available are close ranged melee weapons, bow and arrow, various bottles of alchemy potions that can be thrown (think grenades with different effects) and a very rare flint lock gun.
ancient_game_overview_from_0810.pdf - 2008. (from the super_secret.rar archive)
So a console release and weapons in the next game..oh they probably forgot to mention the cover system
