PAL releases work on US console? I see a few PAL releases and before I waste bandwith on em, I rather know in advanced. Thanks.

Don't worry, as of right now every game is region free. Developers have the right and the tools to region lock their games, but none of them have yet.

For the lazy one's (like me obviously), it would be a good idea to have your 3.41 pup at hand if you are running older versions of the fw atm.

Good thinking. After all, a pup in the hand is worth 2 in the river.

Don't worry I groaned aswell.
Anyway, I can't believe that there are still so few releases on usenet at the moment. I'm in the fucking kitty litter at BC for some unknown reason (no hnr's and a .7 ratio) and I'm dying to get my hands on mod nation racers.
Oh and BTW, that person who was uploading Folklore on usenet might aswell not have bothered because it doesn't work from the external HDD.

mh lazy questions (wasnt in town the last days). if i use any psgroove port (so no bm included) can i just use the bm file provided by psjailbreaks to make backups? or have i to wait till someone patches the psgroove port (in this example the port to the ti84 calculator)?

Yep, you can use any BM ... though don't forget you need the PSGroove .HEX file to actually "create" the Jailbreak. Just remember to get a patched one that reenables the backup functionality.

Hmm.. I was under the impression you had something to do with the nzbsrus site (maybe I'm mistaken), but I see a ton of PS3 releases on there now, at least 20 or more, that's pretty decent start. ;p

@sabin: i read a few pages, so psgroove simply deactivated the bdemu device. need to wait for a patched ti84 port, people say simply readd those lines doesnt work for some reasons

thx sabin,I will try it now.
my console plans were sped up,After I found Sony started With Patching,I was worry I won't be able to get Hacked PS3 for years,it took almost 4 years to get this exploit, and a store that sells PS3 for relatively{PS3 is overpriced In Israel} cheap Price,I Decided that time has come. I'm not taking any risks with Sony.

So what does this actually mean? Can't seem to find any details. I take it this won't remedy 3.42?

It's just for coders;
http://github.com/psgroove/psgroove
Quote: |
This branch has a modified payload that adds peek and poke syscalls
to the lv2 kernel. A userspace application can use these syscalls to
dump out the entire memory space of the kernel, or patch the kernel
as it is running.
Unfortunately, because the free toolchain/sdk is not ready, we can't
distribute an application to do the dumping, so you will have to make
your own.

I doubt they will be able to do anything with 3.42, we will be waiting for a homemade sdk I bet.

It still won't do you any good unless you've bought a Usenet account, mate.
