Your loss. Game's entertaining and is certainly not an awful piece of adventure game.

I agree, this game is entertaining being at chapter 5 enjoying it a lot like the demo, at the ambassador's is only a very tiny part of the first chapter Laughing
It's a descent game.

I'm pretty sure that there is a german release available since the german version was released some time ago.

Sorry, can't give you a link Smile

Lol so at first people were trying to fix the german version into an english one, and now that everything is out you want to change the english version back to german? Laughing

@pfeiffchen
just download the german release. Way less hassle.
Or yet better, go buy the game, I think it's worth the 30-ish € it costs. Wink

What a great adventure game, best in years, Indiana Jones like (Nazis, I hate those guys!) the 'action puzzles' remind me of Full Throttle, few games have done those (these two may be the only ones that done it right).

Puzzles actually make sense, no Myst crap, no pixel hunting you can press the space bar to see what's available.

9/10

Errmm sorry, Lost Horizon has puzzles that make sense? Are you referring to the pressure cooker to break the layer of ice? Or sucking up of flies to get your wallet back?
Or making a fake sheep to scare a real sheep away in order to wake up your friend?
Yeah, that all made total sense.

Played up to Chapter 2 so far. It's pretty good!

But Fairlight's installer was simply and utterly atrocious. Everything's packed into a single 4 GB setup file: my RAM was shitting bricks for like 5-10 minutes trying to open the goddamn executable. I've spent way less installation time in games over twice as big.

Personally it made me think a bit of Broken Sword for some reason, my all time fav. Love the backgrounds in this game and yes the puzzles actually makes sense to me as well. 9/10 here too. This is the best adventure game I've played since Still Life 1.

Right! Thanks for getting that straight in my head Very Happy
It feels like a more Indiana Jones-esque type of Broken Sword. Smile
