meh... this game loses all its rep if it actually comes out.
its like this magical unobtainable entity... but if it actually got made, it would totally cheapen the duke nukem brand and the uniqueness of the game, dont you think?

What was epic with the DNF stuff we saw until now was the level of interaction with the level and all the dynamic action and veriety! Why don't we have that kind of shit in our games? Hell make em 6-8 hours but let it be a roller coaster ride!

The rumours would appear to be true. Borderlands dev Gearbox IS working on Duke Nukem Forever - and the reborn game is set to be unveiled at Seattle event PAX today.

Great, so the announcement will be that they will finish DNF and release it when, in 3 years  and we are back to square one, why don't they all STFU and wait to make an announcement like "the game will finally hit shelves in a month".

It's gonna a be a typical 7/10 FPS game anyways, if it ever comes out. I mean it's not like they've spent a long time with this (i mean time actually spent on developing, not just sitting on your ass doing other shit/mobile phone games etc).
It's very obvious it was something they worked on every now and then when they had some spare time (they probably thought it'd sell a lot better the longer they said it was in development). There arent even any good gameplay vids of this.. the few that exists shows some mediocre FPS gameplay.

Well there might be a chance that the game comes out sooner than we think. The last engine they used (lol) was UE3 AFAIK with which gearbox seems to be familiar with. Also it was said that the game was almost content complete, so.. let's hope.
