CS was the dogs when it was released, still see so many cs servers running today a decade on although I gave up playing a long time ago in 1.4.
As for this, I think the maker will have a hard time on his hands trying to compete with whats already out there nowadays. Good luck to him though.

diablo 2 is the most magnificentest game there is in the universe! nothing is better then it! so keep your damn retarded fantasies 2 urself! blizzard is more than a genius 4 creating the diablo saga! they are the bestest developer there is ever known! i dont rly care about gay alpha protocol! i especially dont care that it has branching dialog! no1 wants 2 here it from u! except 4 losers! so remember 2 keep ur mouth shut about there being another game better then diablo 2! cause there never will be! i am the #1 fan of the diablo saga! blizzard will live 4eva!

Oh. Dear. God.
Ok that was just hideous. The voices are hilariously bad, I honestly think Minh Le recorded all the voices himself. The graphics are terrible, low res textures, shitty special effects and seriously-- what the hell is with all that blue/red glow and silly little overhead markers? I'm not even going to bother going into the rigmarole you have to go through to get this, very beta, cracked "offline only" nonsense working either.
Waste of a download, waste of an effort, waste of energy it took to hold SHIFT and press DELETE.

Nah, you can only play offline with bots and you have to manually launch the map/add the bots via dev console.

I'm really hooked now because I remember that there was an interview with Minh where he mentioned that he had so many features for the original Counterstrike in mind but couldn't do them because of the limitation of the engine and that he especially liked maps like cs_siege with the tank in it. Those vids looks promising (what the hell, this car chase mission looks awesome) and it seems to be that there is grappling and stuff.
