I'm thinking of burning a few live cds to use for fun and in emergencies Very Happy

I've decided to go for FreeDOS, what other do you suggest ? Some Linux ? (Although I hate that shit and totally given up, but if it has easy GUI then ok)

Android ? lol

Don't forget the Windows 7 system repair disk. Well it's basically all you need to really. Add some stand alone tools to the disk and you are set.
Linux live CDs and DVDs are nice too, if your hardware is supported fully.

Puppy Linux is nice if you need to do something quickly, it boots in around 10 secs, extremely lightweight, and has everything you might need in a hurry (browser, document reader, media player, etc...)

PartedMagic live cd is great for hard disks, has all the tools you need: partitioning, data recovery, testing tools, etc....

As for recovery discs, I like Hiren's Boot CD. DOS Based, not very nice as interface goes, but stuffed with useful tools.
