I have downloaded 'Soldier of fortune platinum' on megaupload. It's an old game that came out in 2000.
When I install it, I get an error (see below). The installation process starts. Then, the data are unpacked and the error appears when the files is copied on the HD.
Do you have any idea?
I have windows 7, and this game is known to work well on it. It's what I saw on the web in many places.
An error occurred during the move data process: -113
Component: Support Files

File: D:\setup\Support\anet.inf

Maybe it's corrupted, have you tried re-downloading? You can try to manually extract via WinRAR the data onto your HD (that works well with old games iirc)...

Could also be that antivirus is blocking that file

I've try redowloading it.
I've try to install it with the antivirus and the firewall turned off.
And I tryied to install manually it with winrar, but it says that the .cab files are damaged.
Nothing works.

I would try to install it on an XP system, then copy over the files (and registry entries if needed)
