Like others I am extremely bored right now so I start this thread.
I think that from age 25-30 my focus on games shifted more and more from FPS to RPG and these days MMORPGs are my favourite games.

I still have to finish Dragon Age: Origins but kinda lost interest there after getting laid with Morrigan.

I have a subscription at the moment for both Aion and Age of Conan but also both are starting to bore me.
AoC for it bad visuals and Aion for it repetitive quest driven story line, nerfed money making in game meaning I have to grind to gain good stuff, can't solo less and less and hard to find a party to get something done.

Nothing really good coming out soon except Mafia 2 imo. If you haven't played the kotor games ( 1 & 2 ) I can recommend those. Starcraft 2 Is also an option if you're looking to get into some RTS, though I only play the MP so can't say much for the SP.

Have you tried Sacred 2? It has quite the MMO feel with huge world, many varied quests, plethora of items and spells, etc. Give it a shot. Wink

EVE Online

Everything else is so shit.

Last game before EVE I really enjoyed was the Mask of the betrayer-expansion to NWN2.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

I played almost 5 hours of titan quest today. fuck didn't know that I like hack and slays that much. Actually that game isn't anything special. I don't feel any real advancement like I did in torchlight. Torchlight 2 sure'll be awesome^5 Very Happy

If I had a capable machine I'd probably play the mafia 2 demo until the full comes out. Fuck Sad

That game still around? People were talking about it in 2003 or something. I don't need it anyway, I've just dusted off my precious old Gamecube and PlayStation®2 Very Happy

I like Grids handling it's a good mix between "simulation" and arcade and still you've got to have some skill to get good times.

Eh camon, if you compare it to MW or Carbon or indeed Hot Pursuit 2010, it is a hardcore simulation - you need to brake in order to make a turn and there is no slomo Shocked Laughing
