All of them probably Very Happy

Btw. It sounds like Wesp has implemented a fix for light sources for 7.1, so you won't get lamps shining through the corners of buildings Smile i say implemented because somebody else made the fix and helped Wesp adding the fix to the UP.

Btw. After talking to Wesp, I learned that he haven't got many things left on the To do list Wink and Imho the 7.0 patch really shows that too, so I wouldn't wait for the next patch if you are dying to play the finished game.

A damn pity the developers went feet up, I'd LOVE a Vampire Masquerade sequel.

Me too! Smile And if somebody did a third Vampire game, they should just use the Bloodlines "formula for the UI" since a game like Bloodlines would be able to play fine even on consoles without derping it, they could just add some console aim assist for the console version and everybody could be happy.

But since most devs are lazy these days, it would probably be dumbed down anyway, and we the Pc gamers would probably have to fight like crazy just to get a decent control scheme and some options other than a resolution changer...

Exactly, that is one of the reasons why I prefer to not see a hypotetical Vampire sequel at all rather then witness the destruction of such an awesome game.

Also White Wolf has remade and rebooted the V:tM franchise, so any sequel would be more like a new and different game in terms of mythology.

But, I wholeheartedly agree, this game is awesome. Is the unofficial patch all bugfixes btw, or does it improve graphics and/or restore content as well?

Tries to restore a lot of content (Normal and Plus version of it is available during install, latest version is 7.0 now I think it was.) and also fixes stuff like x64 compatibility and much else.

Btw. Me and Wesp (not that I know him well) are currently doing battle with some fans of Tessera's True patch on the Bloodlines part of the Steam forum. Very Happy

Man those guys will resort to anything. First the start out saying that everybody has to accept their posts as fact, but when they get challenged they call you stuff like being without free will and generally stupid while they tell you that THEY are the mature ones.

At the same time the congregate at a forum where Tessera surprisingly hasn't been banned yet and where there is nothing but he's fans, and there the tone get's really rough...
Today Tessera himself accused Wesp (the Unoffical patch creator) a Nazi simply because he's from Germany Rolling Eyes

Reply 14 in this link: http://adultmods.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=vtm&action=display&thread=2

So yeah, they are very mature Rolling Eyes

Really? I didn't know that either Smile Btw. He is now an Admin on this Bloodlines related site: http://planet-vampire.com/

They got mods and skins for bloodlines and Redemption. I found a small but nice realistic Eye mod for all humanoids in Bloodlines, you should really try that. Wink

For more skins and mods for bloodlines I recommend this site: http://www.moddb.com/games/vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines

Epic game indeed , But the combat was kinda unbalanced , sneak was way overpowered , Guns sucked and powers were way 2 powerfull.

also what's up with planescape torment ? is was so boring , Tried to play that after BG2 and char customization is allmost non existent , its like playing a damm novel book. and that flying skull ... I allways though PS:T was way overrated .

The story and characters are hardly overrated, but the gameplay (combat, quests, customizations) are bad or mediocre at best.

After BG2 all RPGs in that genre pale in comparison.

That fucking game was WAY out there, too epic for words. Richest game I've ever played and probably will ever have played. Boo rocks !

Anyways, have you (or anyone else) tried any mods for this game? Camarilla Edition looks kinda cool, thinking of trying that out...

It's been some years since I played Bloodlines so I haven't tried the Camarilla mod or anything else, but the Cam mod looks promising, I'm probably gonna try it soon.

Well, I just remembered that the ENB series patch that worked pretty well for Deus Ex also supports Bloodlines.

Link: http://enbdev.com/index_en.html

I have tried it, but it kills the performance even after I fiddled with the Bloom and SSAO settings and btw. it looks way to blurry for comfort.
But I think there is a lot more that can be tweaked since there are a lot of settings in the .ini file but I don't know anything about these settings.
So, I wonder if anybody have managed to to run the game while taking advantage of the light and shadowing settings in this patch without killing the performance...

Ps. For those who don't know it, the ENB Series patch enables the user to put on more advanced lighting techniques that can make the game look more up to date, at least that was the case with Deus EX and I guess other games as well, but I haven't tried it with those.
