Well, I don't know if it's the same problem, but I had a lights problem in the demo, and I think I fixed iz by turning off the AA. Not sure though. Deleted that POS after 20 minutes.

To be fair, the game is not all that bad, if you enjoyed "Dead Men", I think you'll enjoy this quite a lot, censorship and short singleplayer campaign aside.

The US version is total crap. Everything got censored, even dead guys heads.
No blood at all, what makes it hard to tell if you hurt / hitted someone.
Cars don't take damage, exept a random few bulletholes & some broken glass, but you can't lower it by shooting into tires or made them explode.

Also my av (Eset Internet Security) didn't like the crack & I had to durn it down to be able to copy over the content :/

Damn I saw the release while I was at my job and was super excited all day long I was like "yaaiii at last a quality game, hadn't been any for weeks" and then I come home and read your comments, depressing.

my pc keeps restarting when i launch the game, had the same problem with the demo although i played it one time when i downloaded it but then when i tried to run it the pc restarts.I think its something connected with steam cuz all other games that dont use steam run perfectly.Any1 has any ideas how i can fix this ?

I'm enjoying it so far. I really can't see what isn't to like if you liked the first as the actual gameplay is identical except the camera which can be changed.

Wont work on my pc, for some reason it crashes back to desktop while loading. it goes till buffering 39%.
Anyone? demo worked fine.

Have you tried the Unreal Engine 3 OpenAL ddl files? This fixed the demo and the final on my laptop. Didn't have the problem on my desktop (which could be because of the xfi in the desktop). Anyway, if you did not try that then download http://rapidshare.com/files/75433612/UT3_Sound_Fix.zip.html and put the 2 dll files in the Main Kane and Lynch 2 folder. This generally works for other Unreal engine games as well. If that doesn't work then I have no idea...

I'm enjoying it too. Shooter vulgaris. Visuals are top notch, sound is great, controls are fine.

I played for a few hours, probably near the end.
It's a third person shooter. I personally love the genre, play them all and think there's a lot of effort needed to create a complete product like this. Problem is, there's already about 50+ others behaving nearly exactly the same way.
I think the first game had a better story and more active cut-scenes, the rest is pretty much the same.
Pro:
-Dark "anti-hero" style story going
-Very nice environments
-Nice chaining of events in real time
-Fast massive carnage gameplay
-Fast framerate / smooth / no crash
Con:
-"Youtube camera" post-effect. It was probably very hard to create something like this, but they failed the final result.
-Covert system / AI. It's sometime just a joke how they behave.
-Censorship. I don't really want to see their dick and I know if they want to censor it, they probably will censor the girls too to be fair, but what about the headshot? That's ridiculous, why add that in the game at all if you gonna blur it?
-Repetitive and short

It fails to run for me. (Crashes on startup, black screen.)
Windows 7 64 bit.
