How to install the DLC's: *Both Unlockers requires Netframework 3.5 or higher !!!*

1. Run the game and disable cerberus network if you turned it on
2. Download the DLCs you want and click on the exe file to install them
3. Download and use the MassEffect2DLCUnlocker (Credits iNatan/Leo Natan) to unlock your DLC's. Just double click on your internet adapter and a second screen will pop up, select yes and your done.
 Spoiler:

*. For people who get stucked @ point 3 because the unlocker is failing for them try the new unlocer ME2_AuthPatch. Tested and worked without internet connection or lan card enabled. This new unlocker doesnt need to be used again when a paid DLC comes out.
**. ME2_AuthPatch creates a icon on your desktop, use that one to play with the DLC's.

the point is they serve cut contend from this game as DLC {see vanilla ME2 on PC or XBOX360 ,those already have all dlc files in there you only buy a fucking key to unlock it and then you only download a sound pack Laughing } to make more profit over time ... then releasing the FULL DEAL NOT CUT GAME

Well, this doesn't cut to the core of my reply, but at least it's a valid argument.
I can understand that you don't like that policy (I don't like it as well).
Then again my estimate is that ~95% of all talking heads here have pirated the whole thing PLUS all DLCs - yet they are complaining about price tags they didn't pay in the first place - I ask: What's the point?

Morons are bad-mouthing a game they enjoyed for free on the grounds of a price tag they didn't pay...

I ask again: What's the point?

My guess is: Even decadent pirates who can't stand up to the fact that they are hypocrites have to soothe their conscience by justifying their actions which stems from a wrong sense of entitlement to some luxury goods they actually think they deserve...

I said: At least be honest and talk about the game, its content, its story, its characters, its graphics, its sound or how it compares to other games... all good and interesting.
But there is NOTHING like that...

If all DLC is sooo bad, all DLC users are "retards" or "fags", BioWare's policy is sooo wrong and the content is sooo shitty why do you pirate it in the first place?
Only possible conclusion: It can't be sooo bad after all... actually it must be REALLY GOOD if you all want to have it.

Pixies wrote:
On top of this, quite a lot of people on this forum are actually sentient enough to a point where they are ready to pay for quality games to encourage the production of more of them. I bought ME2 myself, but along the lines of Hfric's post I also pirated much of the DLC since I to put it bluntly felt entitled to it with what I already spent on the game itself.
There's basically a good and a bad way of treating your fans, and portioning out DLC that should have been included at release with a price tag on it in lieu of tight-ass DRM, would definitely be bad.

Well, you have the best of both worlds as you compensated them for their main game and you get all DLC for free. Great! And how did they play out? Did you like them?

Obviously you valued them enough to feel a need to catch them all (sorry for that Pokemon quote Smile ) be it because of the hype or a sense of "completeness"...

iNatan wrote:

some picture that explains the difference between historical "piracy" and the digital wonder of magical file-sharing

You totally missed the point of my posting.
Furthermore I think everybody here understood me full and well when I used the term "piracy" to describe the method of getting ME2 and its DLCs in your digital possession...

All you have to offer is hair-splitting of words, which - I am sorry - contains no valid argumentation. Next!

And with a nickname of "Stockholm Syndrome", I'm willing to bet he's a troll.

Now you are resorting to ad-hominem attacks, based on my nick-name... great job!
[This tells me a lot about your standards of discourse on this board, thanks]
Again, no valid argumentation... which leads me to believe that I must have struck a nerve here...

Actually, regardless of the ME2 DLCs' quality, people pirate them because it's so easy and convenient. For example, I have them all, but i didn't even play Overlord yet, nor used any weapon from the Firepower pack, also didn't do Kasumi's loyalty mission; i just grabbed them because they were easily available, and installed them for no particular reason. When Shadow Broker DLC is gonna be out, i'll do the same thing, but don't really know when or if i'll actually play it.

PS: I really liked the Zaeed DLC though, mostly due to the awesome loyalty mission. Smile

Dude, nobody here is complaining about the price of the game. It has a standard price and the game is one of the best that came out this year, maybe even THE best. We're only talking about the DLCs. Do you honestly think it's normal, that stuff like: additional appearances Laughing, 2 new helmets or 3 new weapons aren't free ? If so, there is no hope for you.

Just check back one or two pages.
_______
It proves that you got a spine and stand to your word if you say "All DLC is shit" and then proceed to boycott those things you deem bad by ignoring them.

If, on the other hand, you say "All DLC is for retards" or bitch about its prices and then proceed to a P2P network to secretly snatch every last bit of DLC you can find out there... what exactly does that make you? A spineless hypocrite whose word is worth nothing, that's what it makes you.

Some people think I'm against getting DLC for free.
Well, wrong. I'm against hypocrites who say one thing but secretly do the opposite because they are ashamed or struck by their conscience which turns them into petty pretenders*...

You mean Twingo's list ? The point of it is that paying for additional DLCs makes the game expensive. Not that the core game is expensive, it costs as much as every other game.

I bought the game. And some of the DLC (namely Kasumi and Overlord) and while Overlord was fun it still was overpriced for maybe 2 hours of gameplay.
So for me DLC is about this:

While Kasumi's mission actually was quite fun to complete imo.

so then... working now on a ps3 version... will that mean me3 is on the backburner a bit so that they can focus on the ps3 port, meaning me3 will be delayed a bit? or are they offloading the ps3 work to another developer?

either way, loosing exclusivity must hurt microsoft...

I don't think it should affect ME3 development much. Porting is mostly a technical issue, so the creative team should still be available. Also since it's a PS3 game, it is likely that they use a separate PS3 dev team to port it...

What's odd though is that they are porting ME2 and not the first one. I think it's less of a game with 1/3 of the story missing. They might add some sort of a recap perhaps to inform the new audience of the backstory, but it's not really the same thing... and you will be missing the choices/consequences portion.

They can't,thanks to Microsoft. I think MS still holds the console exclusive rights of the first game,so PS3 owners have to settle for ME2 only...for now anyway.
