I just hope it turns out true! God.. it would be depressing as all hell if they removed it, or dumbed it down like Invisible Fail.

I almost had an heart attack when i read there was no inventory. Maybe not all is lost then, although i'm still not sure i'll be playing a new Deus Ex or another generic cover shooter.

For now, nobody knows for sure. For the fans of the original, that's the real question.

A few years ago, I read a small interview, in Time magazine, with Francis Coppola. The interviewer asked Coppola if a movie like Apocalypse Now could be made now (this was at the Redux launch).
Coppola answered negatively, saying that was completely impossible now, to do films with that scale, with that high risk factor,and surely with that kind of approach to movie making. He said probably it was the real last epic of the cinema. Agreeing or not entirely with his statement, the truth is that in the end I too believe that we live in different times, and certain things are not possible nowadays like it was.
The same applies to Deus Ex. It was an epic computer game. It was a masterpiece.
There are to much concessions nowadays to economic interests that I really doubt that they can reach the epic status again, or do any thing as grandeur as Deus Ex was. Sign of the times.
However I'm really enjoying the sceneries so far. That street scenery is quite good.
It's really smelling cyber punk.

Wow, Mr. Adam Jensen is shaping up almost as sexy as Conviction's Sam Fisher!
Seriously speaking, it does look a bit (?) too noisy and hollywoodian, still the game seems to have some interesting touches/ideas and the cyberpunk atmosphere is portraited almost perfecty. We'll see...

@Epsilon
Don't underestimate the presence of a fully dynamic covering system and the amazing multiple combos doable through the press of a single button.

To be honest this does sound a lot like the original fugazi.

Graphics look terrible in that video. Can't expect any better from a consolized game. I hope it's good in term of gameplay and story.
