I do believe it is time this thread is revived as the game is approaching release and hopefully an imminent leak before my pre-order arrives. Anybody else psyched? By the way, IGN has some pretty good content relative to the campaign and MP. For example, an Ivory Tower remake has been confirmed with images. Others include Ascension and Blood Gulch, obviously.
Psyched? Looks almost the same like every other Halo game.
Yes. Psyched. The story behind the campaign, though it closely parallels the novel, will hopefully be just as invigorating and momentous. Multiplayer has never been this diverse and features more than any other console game on the market, hands down. So, again, I am pretty excited as the sheer awe created by Halo CE seems to have been reinstated into Bungie's final Halo game.
Its not a shitty game, but to me its always been a 7-7,5/10. Its good, but not insanely good. What I like most about it is the 4 player split screen via live option. More games should have that.
Honestly, I wasn't really a fan of the ODST firefight. It felt too limited. But, they have drastically changed the formula with Reach, allowing limitless customization, so I am looking forward to giving it another shot. Plus, being a Spartan is always better.
I can't argue that. Horde only was interesting for a few days after finishing the campaign and that was the end of it. At least ODST's firefight, though limited compared to Reach's, had more variety and was faster paced.

Yeah I also already thought about reviving this thread, and am pretty hyped already! Ivory Tower remake is amazingly awesome! One of my all time favorite maps. The new Midship looks insane with low gravity on top of the map. I loved Halo 1-3 all equally because every game brought something new to the table. Halo ODST was still cool but of course not on par with a full on Halo game. Halo reach looks like its doing everything right. It got the most extensive, polished and customizable mp I have seen yet by far and the sp promises a lot with the reach story (also read the novel ) which has huge battles, space combat which looks like a welcome addition, a darker look und huge environments.
I'm also hoping for an early leak, because it went gold 4 days ago and if halo 2 and 3 are anything to go by it should be here pretty early Its pretty hard to keep a game from getting released if you produce millions of discs in a shitload of different countries.

xbox360iso's MOD has stated he had a source and was willing to upload it, but the source was scared off by msges that had been sent.... so hes warned nothing should be posted about leaks untill he finds another or tries to convince the dude to leak it..... go have a look
