Are you able to use this for ANY sims 3 files that you've gotten hold of from other sites or is it just the files from dccache?

That tutorial worked just fine for the .Sims3pack files you can also download, just install via launcher after "decrapifying" them and it'll install without any errors or issues.
(Have about 284 files now all in all after removing duplicates like item sets and such plus ten or so mods like a nointro, debug console enabler and mosaic remover.)

Didn't notice any problems with the DCCache method either but it's hard to say how complete it is when it's packed like that.

A video promoting the game (Upcoming console version.), the marketing they use is pretty interesting and unique at least.

For those having problems with Sims3: Ambitions closing down without any error whatsoever on a 64bit system, try this fi8x. It worked wonders for me...

They should make one universal update instead of separate for each addon pack...

Do I need to install all updates or just the Ambitions one, if I have all addons installed?

The updates each patch part of the game so I'd recommend them all to get the data files patched, launcher itself will hook to the latest addon (Ambitions.) and start that so it's the only one you need a nocd for, patches are universal (They fix the same thing that is.) but still separate for each game.
(Unsure how it works but I'd patch them all, order doesn't matter as such, then just backup TSLHost.dll whatever it does and the game EXE for future patches to be compatible and copy over the cracked ones for Ambitions.)

Unsure how this works with mods and "hacked" DLC/Sims3Store stuff but the previous solution might still work.

Not sure if this classifies as illegal request, but here it goes; Could someone post the autorun.exe and the setup file (sims3ep02.exe or something) from the iso file. (Sims 3 Ambitions)

I've a virus infested release of the game (Sims 3 Ambitions - Vitality) Sad and with my internet redownloading would be quite a pain, running out of my monthly bandwidth once again.

Aand, if this post is considered wrong, you're free to delete this.

Thanks Razz

Sims Medieval.
(That's one way to try something new with the franchise I'd guess, though they kinda did already with the lighter "MySims" series Kingdom title.)

EDIT: No longer links to Hitler.
(Was this link earlier for a few screens of some adventure game - http://worthplaying.com/article/2010/8/3/news/75960/images/276497/ )

Hm, like the idea. Not a sims expansion, but a separate series. Hopefully this will cater to the male-demographic (I like the S3, but can't deny who the target audience really is). I hope they can pull this one off in a right way and it won't be just a failed experiment to bring in the guys.

Strategy on a Sims game? Shocked

I hate Sims, but the idea of creating a bastard peasant and starting conquering everyone else in the most destructive possible way makes me thinking in playing this one.

Looking at those pics, I can't shake the feeling that it's going to be a Guild clone.

I mean, there are pics about blacksmiths, preachers, alchemists, robbers, barkeeps, etc. The only thing missing is a councl meeting to complete the set.

I only wish that it was a Guild clone and it was done right. It won't be, but one can hope.
