Weird prob
ok say I have to do a soft boot cause something crashes, & I restart, sometimes I get an error that says no keyboard found, than it says hit F1 to continue {ya right}. what I have to do is use an PS2 adapter and than hit F1 to get passed that screen, than when it loads I plug my keyboard in the USB again, what an annoying bug!
anyone else have this prob?, I have Asus a7n8x, stupid Asus.

sounds like a glitch on behalf of your bios. Try updating that and see if it helps.

Oh my god heart attack... there where different revisions of bios & I really didn't know which one I should install, {not really clear on there site}so I took a chance & installed it anyway.
So I restarted & I started getting long beeps, so I thought I installed the wrong bios {so I shit my self}
I thought I would reset the bios by flipping the battery around & it started, it turns out I have a lower bus speed for the CPU so I lowered It and all is fine!
I don't know if I fixed the prob though will see!
I thought for sure I would have to drop a hundred on a new MOBO!

If you're using the USB keyboard in an usb hub, some motherboards may not detect it. Try using it directly in the root USB stack (directly on the motherboard).

This sure is a bios problem. Although this is not necessary because you are not using Dos i guess, you might want to take a look at the USB legacy support in your bios. Try to set it to on and see if it helps, i had several boards who showed the same symptoms as yours.

Rasor1394 might be on to something cause I have it pluged into a hub, I'll try it.

I tryed the hub thing didn't work either.
I went to Nvida website & downloaded the Unified driver, I thought it might fix the USB prob,
It turns out it might have fix my Standby crash which start this whole mess to begin with!

Well so much for that theory, I still have the crash on standby when I try to wake it up, and than that keyboard error happens.
Any other thoughs?
