In the readme (Latest loader version is 1.9 now.), and per the instructions you need to uninstall and reinstall as you did and then take the genuine test again to get de-flagged or what to call it, easier than trying to kill of WGA completely and with it working you can also access the full range of Windows updates and hotfixes.

Do you have the WAT update installed, KB971033? If yes you may have got flagged as non-genuine, in order to become genuine again just do the following.
* Launch the loader application and select to uninstall
* Restart the PC
* Install the loader and restart the PC
* Visit the following website to revalidate Windows: www.microsoft.com/genuine/
Is Windows failing to boot after you installed the loader? Just do the following.
* Boot up the PC from your Windows installation disk
* Select the "Repair your computer" option
* Select "Command Prompt"
* Input "bootsect.exe /nt60 SYS /force" (without quotes)
* Restart the PC

The guide is not just about a key. Just bellow it there is "Using a BIE or other pre-activated release?" and this is what you need. You need to activate online somewhere on MS' site to become genuine again after installing DAZ.
