Quote: | Torn asunder, the delicate balance of power between the kingdom of Ehb’s powerful factions has fallen apart. As one of the few remaining members of the disgraced protectors of the land, the 10th Legion, it is up to you to rebuild the once great Legion and stop Ehb from falling into darkness. Joined by a group of unique companions, you will travel through the striking land of Ehb defeating all manner of villains and beasts through a combination of heroic abilities, screen shaking magic and fearsome weapons. |
So you have to rebuild the Witchers and clean the land of monsters....err sorry. I mean help The Brotherhood of Steel clean the land and stop the enclave...ACK!, seriously You are a Warden and you must rebuild the great Wardens, joined by your unique companions you must travel through Ferelden and stop the Dark Spawn..
It seems I just can't get this right!

As someone who's predominately a console gamer, I wasn't particularly familiar with the Dungeon Siege franchise before I sat down for a peek at the third iteration deep within the recesses of Square-Enix's E3 booth. I knew it owed a lot to Diablo, but little else. Within the first seconds of seeing Dungeon Siege III, however, I knew that Obsidian's new take on the series had been designed with someone like me in mind.
The most obvious cue? The perspective, which has gone from the zoomed out view the series is most associated with, to a more traditional third-person action perspective right over the shoulder. The classic view is still available with just a button press, but most of the demo I saw zooms in tight on the lead character. |

yes, Dungeon Siege was all about story ... pfffft, it's a fun game, loved both to bits. I still remember the first one, after getting out of a difficult area into those serene environments. It gave me a strange sense of accomplishment.

DS2 was a pretty damn great game. I never played the first one though.
Pretty sure they will fuck this one up.

If you've played a decent amount of DS2, I doubt you'll get as much fun out of DS1. It's incredibly dated now, lol.

What the hell is this??? Obsidian is developing this... oh boy. I would really love to like your games Obsidian but your track record does not inspire confidence.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Well i know they weren't exactly the best games in the world but they were right up my alley. I loved DS1 and 2. lots of fun multiplayer too. I don't really expect anything out of #3 since its being made for consoles, but we can always dream, right?

I went through the entire MP map in DS1 with my brother in one sitting and that was sheer awesome. The same can be said for DS2 I loved it to bits. Obsidian aren't a group I hold in high regard but I'll wait for some gameplay before calling anything.

Well, pretty much every single preview of the E3 demo praised the graphics. But the screenshots don't seem to show off what the previews praised the most (the environments and vistas). Weird move by marketing.
I do like that it seems to be rather colorful though and the lighting is nice.

If those are actually in-game I don't see a problem with it. Better than DA:O was from the looks of it at least.

Why is the GOW perspective the tradiitonal one ? | Witcher and DA had exactly the same 3 cams... over the shoulder... zoom out strategy view and classic RPG view
