There better be more than just an AA On/Off option.

At 1920x1200 I don't need any more than 2xAA to get rid of any jaggies, anymore than that is just wasting GPU power at no additional visual enhancement. On probably defaults it to 4xAA.

Regardless, sexy screens Very Happy

Beware, there's a spoiler from 1:20 to 2:00, so you might want to skip that part.

The PC testing they did was not posted here yet....so here it is Razz

test machines for "playable" framerate I guess...

It's based on the preview version.

If you can pixel count like those console kids do to determine the resolution and AA, then check the screens out and tell us just how much AA is applied on the 1920x1200 screenshots. Razz

Can't say anything on how AA affects the screen but the tree in the winter comparison might be a indicator, rest (As with the settings menu lacking texture quality and such.) seems mainly related to shadows and ambient occlusion with some minor differences ontop of those.
(Minus PhysX of course.)

In the text it says that the detail settings mostly affect the display of the objects far away. Everything next to the character would always be displayed in the highest quality.

Well, playable framerate varies depending on who's doing the playing. Regardless, I bet overclocking my 480 and using it by itself will be fine Very Happy

There's a nHancer profile for Mafia 2 with a special compatibility mode for the game. It'll support multisampling, at least on nVidia cards.

As this is the PC version, there's no target lock-on available. The targeting however appears to be smooth and responsive, with no slowdown or crazy bullet physics.

Reviewers leaking early seems more like an exception rather than the standard these days (at least weeks early, no point expecting anything like that).
