Well as starcraft 2 is more like starcraft 1,5 and stacking was in starcraft 1 I'm not suprised it made its way to the sequel. Maybe it 's (was?) kind of a bug, but a one that made some extra tactics available and added some variaty so I really do not understand all the whining about it. And It's one of that hardcore PC games bugfeatures that are not gamebreaking but add to the experiance (like rocket(ups I meant STRAFE)] jumping in Quake! - its started as a "bug" too)

And some people are willing to accept any shovelled shit just as long as it has the name of their favourite company stamped on it, even though there are vastly superior products elsewhere. It's the very nature of fanboyism.

I bought MW2 for £20 and I've had over 420hrs of fun out of it, with no extra cost. How is that an "ass fucking"? I didn't buy it because it had the Activision stamp on it, I bought it because it was part of the CoD series -- and as for innovation? At least MW2 changed things up a bit from MW1 or any previous CoD title. StarCack 2 is fucking identical to StarCack 1, right down to the bugs!, the only difference is SC2 is "3D" compared to SC1's sprites.
Nice. Take the same game from 12 years ago, make it 3D, the Blizztards will snap it up like a thirsty man in a desert. Innovation my hairless arse. You muppets keep crying about how SC2 is the most innovative RTS "evah!!" and yet the rest of us non-blinded fanboys are sat here, scratching our heads, and thinking "QUE!? WTF?"

Yes, it's good we're not fanboys then, but simply understand the game and why it is a feature and not a bug.
As we also mentioned Blizzard initially chose to have collision so you couldn't bunch them up like that, but it was only due to player request that they made it possible, so obviously it wasn't Blizzard shoveling shit, as they did originally not want, but infact their fanbase shovelling shit.
So you can't argue your case without resorting to personal attacks, and even then you can't argue the case.

ITT: Anyone with a different opinion than yours = fanboy.
No, we simply invested more time in learning about the game than you did, and we saw what could potentially make this the most innovative RTS, it's still not known yet whether or not that will be the case, but i'm quite certain that it will be.
But i guess those reviewers will be called fanboys too, right?

dude, youre so full of crap. whats your problem with sc/blizzard? mw2 is the same shit as mw1 with few new perks, crap host migration and no dedicated servers. hows that fucking in the ass? it is, simply as that.
anyone is arguing that sc2 is super innovative? no. but if you dont see what new mechanics are in sc2 comparing to sc1 simply means that you have no idea micro/macro mechanics in sc2.
i cant believe how full of shit and rage you are posting this kind of bullshit on internet lol, i remember your posts from different topics and never seen anything like that, fuck, its amazing. cant believe that you are 1981 and post shit like that, time to fucking grow up, seriously.

Ok Jesus Shot, whatever you say.... it's a "feature".

Weeee! So the derp brigade are the reason? Sounds fun. However that doesn't negate the fact that the game is fucking IDENTICAL to the previous one, just with "polygons" instead of "sprites" -- oh and you have to buy the game three times if you want to play it properly. WOOHOO. No wonder Blizzard are part of Activision now (did you stop to realise THAT, Remy? No?)

My only "personal attacks" are against muppets calling a bug a "feature" and claiming that SC2 is the best ever, without providing a shred of proof except for text slathered with fanboy drool. It brings nothing to the table that hasn't been done a hundred times before, and better, by competing titles. Of course I'm going to insult people like that, because - IMO - they're retards.

DERP. Tards haven't even played it yet and they're "quite certain that it will be the most innovative" I rest my case and hereby leave the thread, because I'm afraid I'm getting soaked to the skin in fanboy bukkake. It's kinda gross.

You see, we finally found some common grounds. MW2 is indeed rape in the ass by Activision.

It simply isn't, the whole singleplayer experience is different, the map publishing (which i've previously said didn't work out well in the beta) is different, even multiplayer itself is different, beyond replacing polygons with sprites.
If you're seriously trying to argue that the game is identical then you're just a moron, plain and simple.

I provided proof more than once in this thread, but i'm guessing that your definition of "fanboy drool" prohibits that material from being used, despite being the official website and even 3rd party journalistic gaming sites?

My opinion is my opinion, from the information i've gathered i believe my opinion to be fair, i do not present it as fact, but i'm quite certain that it will end up being fact.
When it does, i'll be happy to return so you can get some more bukkake.

I think it's safe to say that the "map builder" is the best feature of SC2. Hopefully, a portion of the community will make something creative out of it.

That depends on whether or not they'll fix all of the feedback gathered during the beta, in the beta it was like this, which, in my opinion, was pretty terrible:
10MB max size per map (Basically room for no extra resources)
20MB of max storage (That's only 2 fullsized maps in total)
5 Maps total.
Maps are only available in the region they're published. (Games like DotA either won't be available to other regions or they would somehow have to publish it in other regions (buying several copies of the game)
No real custom map support, i.e. you can't make a map and then share it, and then play over battle.net without all kinds of weird trickery.
So as you can see, there are some pretty dealbreaking issues there, but i don't know for sure if they fixed them or not.

there a lot of issues connected with maps.
its possible to embed music/video content in map file - obviously copyrights issues involved.
its also possible to make almost every game you could imagine - the same.
(check dota sc2 on youtube)
anyway you should have an option to play custom map file from your harddrive without publishing it on bnet.

That just killed every little bit of excitement I had for this game. They make this great editor, and then they put extreme limits on it? No thanks.
Also, region-locking is just bullshit. Don't understand how you can support that.
Oh well, glad I didn't waste money on this.

Can't believe all the hate here. Really pathetic complaining about things that people actually wanted in the game. Then again I presume none of the complainers has ever played Starcraft 1 or any other competetive MP game.
