Yes, "big guy" relative to my MS-1, it being the smallest tank in those battles. Jesus do you want me to draw you a fuckin picture?

I got behind either a TD or SPG, can't recall which, got him to 7% and I think it was an SPG that 1-shot'd me, I was probably 1/4 second away from firing. At the time it would have been my first kill.

Anyone know of a place still giving away keys, I got one but a buddy of mine was wanting to try it out as well.

It's entertaining, but makes me crave a good tank simulation.

Yup. It's a massive difference when you get the StuG, which does s constant 40km/h on flat ground.

Playing this game all day and enjoying the hell out of it. I just want more nationalities to use / fight against. Can't wait for the U.S. tanks (think they're coming next) and whatever comes after that.

I just can't figure out what I like playing the most.

Scouting in a super fast tank is fun, especially blowing off some huge tanks treads with a ninja HE round as I zip by at 70 KM/H.

I enjoyed and hated (depending on the map) playing a TD. Super accurate shots and sneaking around the bushes is fun. Having a super fast light tank suddenly zip past and spot you can be a nightmare, though, since the SPG fire is gonna come any second after that.

I dig medium tanks, too. Pretty sure I want at least one of my "main" tanks on release to be a Panther or a T-44. Have to drive one yet, though.

SPGs ... I want to play them, too, but they get such a bad rap for being OP that I just stay away. I've noticed that they easily dominate rookie battles with one-shot kills, but so far in the Standard battles they end up doing very few kills. Instead, they act like awesome support -- often knocking a heavy tank's turret out for a few seconds, or blasting the treads off of a medium or something. Not many one-shot kills, in fact, not many SPGs at all after rookie. More than half of my battles are SPG-free. Why?

Anyway, yeah, fuck you guys for showing this to me. Going to playing this all week now.

SPGs are definately not the superweapons they are in recruit when you play standard. As you say they're more support weapons. I think the main reason not as many play them in standard is because they depend on others to protect them from close enemies.

Also SPGs end up being really expensive and the fact is that they rarely get any better when going up the tiers. Got myself a SU-8 and i'm far from impressed with it.

I am not sure what Tank Destoryers can do that Medium tanks can not, they seem to be just as good at destroying tanks, more mobile and better armored. And they are cheaper to maintain. Most of the battles are mid-close range anyway. Specially the german VK300's seem to be very powerful for a medium tank.

its one thing to compare t5-t6 medium vs t3-t4 td, and say well this td is shit..

whole another is to take same t5-t6 and compare to t5-t6 tds..

at same tiers, td will outshoot you in long range, will most likely out tank you too, since of their superb front armor and sloped armor, on close range they will turn as fast as your " already "slow medium can go

sure i eat t3-t4 tds with my t6, second i see jagpanzer or jagpanther i'm fleeing..

I have no problem sniping even heavy tanks in my StuG. It's all about the long-range with the TDs. Preferrably range where they can't even be seen while shooting.

Major changes:

- New method of forming waiting list for battle. That will bring more balance in standard battle mode.
- Expendables introduced – equipment/modules that you can use during the battle. You'll be able to purchase and set it up through 3 slots next to the current 2 additional equipment slots.
- Changes to the additional equipment: you won't be able to demount some equipment after you install it, some will be split into classes, introduced different prices for different types of equipment.
- Introduced different settings for aim. Right now it's just a test version with limited number of settings.
- Added 2 new maps: "Erlenberg" and "Pagorki".
- Map markers for "Attacking" and "Need help". So far just test version.
- Removed the possibility of converting experience from non-Elite tank into free experience.
- Added confirmation windows when attempting to sell tank with crew or installed equipment.

Content:

- Added destruction of several more objects.
- Added new effects for different types of destructible objects.
- Fixed damaged models for many tanks
- Fixed models of several tanks.

Interface:

- Now you can choose to save your password. The saved password will be encoded.
- Fixed several typos.
- Fixed notification "Battle begins" which is visible throughout the battle.
- Added separate setting for wide-screen.
- Added separate icons for premium HE shells.
- Improved icons of tankers in the hangar.
- Added display of spread (normal distribution) of armor-piercing and damage in the interface (test version).
- Fixed switching from email to password by pressing TAB in the login window.
- Improved player's stats window.
- Added dialog window to turn on the speed up crew training.

Other:

- Fixed several game crashes.
- Re-worked influence of the driver's skill on speed and maneuverability of the tank.
- Fixed possibility of starting two clients at the same time.

Possible:

- Joining battle in small teams. We are testing this option together with the new method of forming waiting list for battle. If we are satisfied, it will be included.

So i tried that game seeing how it get praise here.

And i think it sucks badly.. This game is all about camping with the big bad SPGS.
I cant even drive my pathetic slowass starting bucked of bolts a mile before its blown by something a mile off.. So i dont thing its pretty enjoyable when that happens every game.

That's how it is at the beginning. You have to overcome a huge part of frustration until the game gets fun. That's a huge design flaw... but it's a noob/kid/rager filter too Rolling Eyes

Tier 3-4 tanks. This is when it starts to become fun.

Btw, never, I repeat, NEVER! convert your daily 150 gold to credits. NEVER! Save up 250g and buy a premium day. You get huge amounts of xp and credits. Not comparable to 60k creds. I make about 30k creds and 1k-1.5k XP in good match (for me) with premium. For example. But mostly it's about 600-800xp and 15k creds per game. 60k creds are peanuts.

I made/make more money with my PanzerjägerIV but I kept them both nonetheless.

PzJgIV is a great tank, i would get it. Basically a much better armored StuG and with the 88mm cannon, it can actually hurt heavy tanks.

The JagdPanzer IV is much, much better than the StuG. A little bit slower, but it can actually survive a couple of hits, and it quite regularly bounces 75mm shells.

I believe it also has a higher firerate with the high-velocity 75.

Oh, and don't use the first 88mm. It's pretty bad, and just a massive money waster. It's less accurate, fires slower, only does about 70 or so more damage, and it has less penetration.

Well, you already got a huge amount of gold. I would go for it if I were you. Btw, the cap for maximum gold is 3000.
