Not even 21 and already suffering aggressive hair loss on the back there.

I had some blood tests done about a month ago and I'm still afraid to see the results because I know they won't find any anomalies that are hopefully what is causing my hair loss.

I'm still trying to figure out what the fuck is wrong with my parents for not saying anything about it.

Mom claims it's not genetic on her side and Dad hasn't commented.

Life fucking sucks.

I'm fond of "chromedome" .

I guess I'll have to become one of those baldies who overcompensate by working out at the gym too much.

Hey, don't worry about it - Professor Xavier is a baldy and he fucking rules! Also, he's paralysed, so you might want to go shatter your spine too - just to capture the complete effect.

I'd hate to be bald.

Besides the looks you loose the function of having the hair. Whenever you sweat you'll have to deal with sweat beads dripping down, and your head will burn from the sun as well.

You are whining to your parents because you are going bald? What do you want them to do, re-engineer thier genetic make up? Although I am pretty sure the baldness gene is carried by the mother but I may be wrong.

Uh, just how the fuck did you figure I'm "whining"?

Ohhhhh, so talking to my parents to get a better understanding of my genes equals whining?

Sure, makes sense.

Naw the skin gets used to it. It's just initially sensitive if you've always had a full head of hair and suddenly shave it all off.

But yeah, get some clippers to trim it off or even shave everything and grow a beard. Looks great on just about anyone (excluding those poor sods who have weird conehead headshapes and/or aren't manly enough to grow a proper beard).

either shave your head (or trim it down to 5mm), who knows, maybe it'll look good on you. or try hair transplants... they're not exatly cheap, but that's the price you gotta pay for a bit of vanity. but don't play around with medications...i'd rather be bald and learn to live with it than swallow that stuff for the rest of my life, having depressions and messing up my libido and/or my dick.

might be just some weird phase though...2 years ago i had sudden hair loss at the back of my head even though i lived a healthy lifestyle and my blood tests came back ok, then i asked my father (who is bald too) when his hair started falling out and he just laughed and said that when he was my age it was already gone Laughing
thinking i was doomed, i cut it down from shoulder length to a buzzcut and who would have thought...few weeks later i had a thick head of hair again, no bald spots whatsoever Very Happy

btw, that gene deciding your hair loss is definitely carried by the mother. every guy on my father's side is bald, but no one on my mother's side (i've even got a nearly identical hairline to my uncle and grandpa)

I'm not even 18 yet (will be on 8th August) and I guarantee that I am more bald than you, even though I have long hair. Laughing

Nearly half of my head is bald (I'm balding frontally). The doctor said I'm receeding because of the genes in my family, but FFS, I'm seriously nearly bald. Laughing
