Just by judging the trailer, I can see that the game has (unsurprisingly) a lot of similarities with Conviction Laughing

Well bond has never been much for subtlety or finesse, despite being dubbed "spy" or "secret agent". Laughing Even more shame for Fisher, to be put in the same sentence as James Bond. Laughing

well , there is talk that they might sell the franchise , i'd really love to see Sam Mendes direct 23 and since it's Chris Nolan's dream to do a Bond movie , he might direct Bond 24

the global water crisis is a very serious matter.
Here's some facts for you Rolling Eyes

-Some 1.1 billion people in developing countries have inadequate access to water, and 2.6 billion lack basic sanitation.
-Almost two in three people lacking access to clean water survive on less than $2 a day, with one in three living on less than $1 a day.

-1.8 billion people who have access to a water source within 1 kilometre, but not in their
house or yard, consume around 20 litres per day. In the United Kingdom the average person uses more than 50 litres of water a day flushing toilets (where average daily water usage is about 150 liters a day. The highest average water use in the world is in the US, at 600 liters day.)

-some 1.8 million child deaths each year as a result of diarrhoea
-The loss of 443 million school days each year from water-related illness.

.... Laughing

Dude, seriously it's Bond. He doesn't help with world hunger. He help when some guy wants to destroy Britain with a high powered laser from outer space. Fuck water problems.

Also Craig David is a terrible bond and the whole franchise has become crap from Day another day (althou i really liked Pierce i hated this movie) onwards. Quantum was TERRIBLE.

And thanks for these facts... You really opened my mind... Rolling Eyes

who cares if its a boo-hoo real world issue for some countries on the ass end of nowhere

This is a movie. A james bond movie no less. A franchise that gave us men with metal teeth, and razor-hats.

THIS IS A GUY SELLING WATER FFS. how does that make for an exciting villain for a JAMES BOND movie of all things. Your statement would hold some merit if it was some documentary, but for a movie... some business man selling the EVIL WORLD DESTROYING ENTITY THAT IS WAATEERRR is freaking lame no matter how you twist it.

whats next? oh i know.. for the next movie, the evil villain can be an evil corporation marketing HIGH-FAT MEALS TO CHILDREN IN SCHOOLS, OH GOD THE HUMANITYYyyyy Rolling Eyes

oh and Le Chiffre is just a gambler who can't even throw a punch. Rolling Eyes
in terms of villains ..QoS is way more traditional and James Bond-ish.
we had a villain with an evil plan. his lair.and a fight between them.maybe his plan wasnt exactly WORLD DOMINATION but still...variety is good.

atleast the whole poker thing tied into the type of character bond was. plus he atleast was interestiing and for shits sake wasnt trying to sell milk or bread or something to people!

and seriously... what evil plan. to sell WATER? come on, thats not an evil plan, thats just business. mcdonalds would make a better enemy for bond to go up against.

looks like anothere shit based on film hero...it is a big shame that the old bonds (shawn connery, roger moore days) , never got decent game , with so many potencial inside...i can't explane this phenomenon but imo all the bond games ever seen daylight are crap.
for me the bond series ended when timothy dalton went out ...that pierce brosnan and daniel craig crap , it's not a james bond movies..just anothere medium action movies without anything special about it...the old magic is gone.

and back to the games, so...no one lives forever is a game i like to see as a james bond based game:)

what a days Smile

I think Casino Royale was a good film on its own and it was certainly right there with the Connerys and Moores. It's just that Quantum of Solace crapped all over Craig's Bond. They looked what was a hip at the time, saw Bourne, and decided to do something similar (and failed even at that, of course). It's a shame, because Craig could have been one of the better Bonds, but now with his third Bond film on indefinite hold, he may never see redemption. And lets be frank, all the great Bonds had several awful flicks as well, they weren't all great, but because they are old and we have fond memories of them, fueled by nostalgia, that we call them "the greatest Bonds". my bigest problem with pierce movies is that they took the abillities of bond too far like to stand on a super high speed fighter craft and to jump into anothere, i mean come on...
it is right that the old bonds used some crazy stuff too, but still somehow it was logical after all.

but i also must admit that days been changed and the cold war is over so maybe i can call the days after Connerys and Moore, the new age bonds Smile

about daniel, i do think like you iNatan, that he could be one of the best bonds, he got the look and the presence , but something goe's wrong:(

what a days Smile

But you know what could happen? The video games turning up to be better than the movies, like for example the Riddick games are better than the sequel they made to Pitch Black... But from what is shown in the trailer, I doubt this would be the game to do so... Sad

you know what they SHOULD do?

take arkham asylum, reskin batman to look like bond, replace the grapple model with a 'belt grapple tool', replace the explosive gel with a wristwatch laser, replace the batarang with a silenced pistol, put joker in a business suit, bring in a brit to redo batmans voice, and bam... awesome bond game.

seriously though, the combat mechanics in batman were fucking great, both the fighting and the stealth usage... they need to make more games with combat that intuitive and fun.... and like i said above, that kind of gameplay would totally suit a bond game.

and also toot-toot, hop on the train - i liked craigs bond too. my only issue was the second movie, i quite enjoyed the first one - would have liked to have seen him continue in the role.... with a proper story, and going up against a proper villian though, not some fucking water salesman...
