The Pz III Ausf.A is kinda bad, except for scouting. The later Pz III isn't bad at all though.

Cool game. feels alot like that naval mmo (cant remember name now)
But holy moly, without the daily free gold, it will take a long time to unlock the higher tier tanks.
Looking forward to see how they are gonna implant infantry into the game

Is the free gold going to be awarded post-beta?

I highly doubt it.
@fissesin, Navy Field?
Also, it doesn't take that long to earn money later. I'm at the point where I earn 10k credits for a good match with my Hetzer, and around 4-6k on average.

Where do you find the key binding or how do you change them? I don't see them listed anywhere.

Oh god, luckiest shot ever. I was being chased by a JgdPz, which can pretty much 1shot me. I waited around a corner in a city, and he was speeding down the street. As soon as he comes into view I hit him in the side with a 105mm HE shell, breaking his track, his engine and setting him on fire. A few seconds later his fuel tank exploded.
I lol'd.

I just got Marder II and most of my hits bounce off the enemy. Pretty hard to get exp if not many light tanks around.
It seems you can not skip tanks in the tech tree, but i am not sure. otherwise i would just play my PzJ 1 until i could afford the hetzer.

You can skip tanks, theoretically. Basically what you need to do is use one of your tanks with elite status, and convert the xp you earn with that into free xp (by paying gold).
Also, get the 76mm cannon for the Marder as fast as you can, until then stick with HE rounds so you can do some damage to heavier tanks.

While hitting the tracks is always nice, you don't have to. HE rounds can do subsystem damage no matter where you hit.
My Hetzer does some nasty damage with the 105mm HE shells. 1-hits most light tanks, and does 25-30% damage on many medium tanks. It's also useful for disabling heavy tanks while I let my teammates fire away at them.

a tip, save gold for premium account , those 60k early sounds a lot, and is close to zero when ur driving big tank, and if you play whole day you can earn a lot with decent tank and premium account, and no you wont get gold post beta, unless you buy it
premium account is pretty much needed on tier 7 and above,
cuz repairs and ammo becomes too big to maintain income

Pretty fun game so far. I still get omgwtfpwned in almost every game though, mostly by running into some hidden tank or getting smashed by an arty shell. Only slightly annoying thing are those BT-2 rushers, damn that thing goes fast.

Yeah the first time I saw a BT-2 I was like "WTF is that a hack" as it just zoomed past me.

The T2 Tank Destroyers can completely wreck BT-2s with HE shells. A 76mm HE makes short work of them.

Are enemy tanks really just invincible if you're not strong enough?

Nope. If your gun is too weak to pierce the enemy armor, you can switch to HE rounds and take out their tracks or hope to do some subsystem damage (Break their gun, kill their crew, even set the ammo on fire resulting in an explosion).
Of course, a light tank still won't fare well against heavy ones.

Yes, you will need to manually aim to hit the tracks (Except in some cases, where and inaccurate autoaim shot hits the tracks). You don't need to manually aim for subsystems though, just hitting the tank will be enough to damage those. Hitting them in their weaker armor helps a whole lot though.
