oh for fucks sake, not more useless armor....

when oh when will bioware learn, that we spend all this time creating our characters face.. you know... the ONLY aspect of the character we're allowed to edit... and we'd like to SEE that face, not a fucking upturned futuristic mixing bowl with some glowy lights on it!!111111

Actually, that armor is very different compared to other DLC armors.

You get 4 modular pieces, that you can mix and match with regular armor pieces. You don't even need to wear helmet, if you don't like it.

Also, you can change its color, just like with ordinary armor.

^ This is the way how additional armor items should've been done from start.

P.S.
Only disadvantage is same torso piece for both male and female Shepard.

The price is just ridiculous, 2 dollars for a customized armor and a weapon that already got released months ago.

yeah itd be enough to make me mad. if i ever actually paid for this shit that is... they have yet to release any dlc that i would be able to say '..yeah... thats a damn good addition worth a couple of bucks...' like ive said, kasumi was the closest to being worthwhile... atleast it FEELS like an addition, rather than overlord, which (and i know people say this a lot, but even i think its true in this case) was most likely ripped out of the original and held back for dlc... surely everyone remembers that one me2 'rogue ai' mission that felt like it was going to be a good 'horror' type mission, but ended up being basically 4 corridors of nothing where you flip a couple of switches, then get to 'win'...

Sadly, I think you're right but if it was made specially as DLC it would be the first really good DLC imo. :/

A question about the unlocker: why exactly does your one require selecting network adapter (and cable unplugging, won't work with adapter disabled etc) and giveme2entitlements(v2) doesn't?

Because there was an initial problem with GiveMe2Entitlements with machines that had multiple NICs, so the new unlocker was made in order to let you choose which active NIC you wanted. At least, that's how I remember it.

The DLC (mission based) will show up as new galaxies you can travel to, if they're installed correctly.

Will Mass Effect 3 adopt Kinect?

Quote:
Bioware has revealed that it finds the idea of Kinect support in Mass Effect-type games "really interesting" - and that it is optimistic over the use of the device in future hardcore games.

Microsoft is yet to unveil any hardcore titles for the motion-sensing peripheral, which will launch in November.

However, Bioware boss Greg Zeschuk said that the idea of using hybrid controls - with Kinect working in tandem with a pad - was one which is was keen to "explore".

"The new motion controls are very interesting and quite powerful," he told GamesIndustry.biz. "Phase one of those is the dancing, fitness and party games, the sword-swinging games.

"The next phase is where it gets really interesting when developers like us can tear it all down and ask: 'What can we actually do in a game like Mass Effect?' Can we create a greater sense of immersion during conversations by using gestures?

"I think we probably could and I think that's where we'll explore. We're not going to do a party game, we're not going to do Dance Dance Krogan for Mass Effect. The reality is it's going to have a really positive impact.

"There's that impediment of a controller but hardcore gamers are never going to give that up. It might be nice to see a hybrid of a controller used with additional gesture on the side for immersive elements. So we'll see it go from family entertainment and then broaden out."

It wouldn't be certainly an unexpected move Laughing

I guess it'll be like the Kasum and Mercenary onesi in terms of length and content though unsure if Liara will be a full team-member afterwards, Shephard (Shepard?) already has two other team members in one of the image so probably not.
(Hopefully with the diversity and more open nature offered in the last DLC instead of just a few short corridor shootouts and light exploration to find hidden extras.)

ive got a feeling she'll show up in me3, so i think having her join up as part of a dlc could fuck things up when you carry over your save, so im guessing it wont happen, even after the mission.

and yeah im definately hoping for a story driven dlc, not a 'shooter' based one... and for shits sake, give us some full dialog to make it seem better integrated than the last one....

Shit yeah! I was so gutted when we didn't get to do any more proper missions with/for Liara.. especially after she kept alluding to the Shadow Broker. I just feel sorry for the suckers who'll go and buy this DLC, whilst the smart ones (read: the "filthy" pirates who don't want to keep paying out the nose Razz) will just download it Very Happy
