ok what the fuck is up with valve and their stupid fucking steam updates... today when i connect to one of my fav servers i get:
SERVER EXPERIENCE WARNING
the server you are connecting to allows up to 31 players.
team fortress 2 was designed to have optimal experience with a maximum of 24 players. on servers... blah blah blah cannot guarantee acceptable performance... rah rah rah whatever.

why the fuck do they need to put this in? why do they keep adding stupid little useless pieces of shit. also i notice that when i try and start the game, it auto updates the main server list WHICH I DONT WANT because it lags me out in the menu... it never used to do that, but valve seems determined to do the most stupid shit with tf2 and i just dont know why...
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrage.

TF2 is probably among the worst games ever coded. There is no excuse for having drops to 35-40 FPS on an e7500 @ 3.6 GHZ - very stable, very safe temperatures. There simply is no excuse, when all modern games run jerk-free on my system, only tf2 fucks around.
Oh, and valve in their infinite wisdom, don't give a fuck about the many hundreds posting about performance issues. They don't even bother to respond to tickets open for 3 weeks now.
Valve is dead, as far as I'm concerned, this was the last drop. Can't believe I payed these clowns so much, I'm very pissed with myself.
yeah, go to the mac platform, Valve, they'll love your style over substance approach. Fucking cunts.

I never had any issues with tf2, I used to run it on an athlon 64 x2 3800 (2ghz) with an ati 4850 with everything maxed out and it was always smooth as a baby skin... i think there might be a problem with your system!!!

Trust me, I have been tweaking it for two days now, and read every post I could find. Performance problem posts are buried, because of all the idiot spam that's on the official forums. But there's a sticky, where the whining goes on all the time, as well as some threads about this dating back years.
I run games great, and this is the only exception.

Right, cause an e7500 @ 3.6, 4870 1gb and 4gb of Ram should not be able to run a game made in 2007, on an engine from 2003. Yet it miraculously manages to run every other new game without sweating. Yes, thanks for the advice, hotshot. Real useful.

I wish they'd stop making class specific updates, it ruins the game for a few weeks. Unless of course, you love playing with teams composed entirely of engineers.
