Borderlands = 27.19USD

Yep. $3 less than buying a 4 pack from the US store.

Funny thing is I probably would buy if it was 27 in the US as well, but won't on general principle.

SW Empire at War is every bit as brilliant as I remember it! I'd forgotten how indepth and enjoyable the game was, shame we haven't seen more like it Sad One game, one expansion, dead franchise. Speaking of "awesome" and "dead franchise" -- what about an updated TIE Fighter/X-Wing??? Jeez, if there was ever a missed opportunity, it's that right there.

Stupid brainless monkeys working at LucasArts these days. You can't even blame it on greed, because it's pretty much a cast-iron fact that a new TIE Fighter or X-Wing title would sell like the proverbial hot cake.

I remember loving the whole game, though it was exceedingly unbalanced on the ground battles... I mean, those Gungan shield generators were freakin' merciless and let's not forget the Empire being able to call in the bloody DEATH STAR on ground battles Laughing

Lulz... How's that for a slice of fucked up memory? It wasn't EaW that had the Gungans and planet-side Death Star, it was Galactic Battlegrounds! Laughing

I was about to buy it thinking it was Borderlands and all the DLCs.
Then I found out that its just Borderlands.

And then I found out that its selling in Australia at a 270% markup.
Then I decided against the purchase.

Like you said, its the principle.

Well, I'm glad you can turn off steam cloud with the latest client. Makes it easier in some games for me and the gf to have different save files (without having to remember to go offline).

Epsilon: Game is great btw, I love it, so far it's a definite goty. It's remarkable how much has changed since the beta, stardock have been working their asses off, and it shows.

Bought Portal for 1,50€. Smile
Of course I played it back in the day, but only a warez version. Can't go wrong with that game for that price!

yeah, too bad. I was hoping for something really great on the last day...

I guess they just want to catch the people who maybe missed something or weren't sure they wanted to get it, and now that they have another chance they're likely to grab it now.

Thief 3 also, heh. I picked it up the other day on Steam's sale, only to see it being sold for €20 the next day. Go figure. Also snagged L4D2 at the same price earlier in the week.

I've had KF ever since it was released, definitely an enjoyable game.. but doesn't have the production values of L4D. I know, I know.. smaller indie team porting a mod from UT2K4, but still Very Happy

Well, it doesn't need the production values of L4D. The game's all about the fun. Wink

Besides, 4,5€ is dirt cheap.

Yep, even I bought it and I hate every game that has key mapping for flashlight Very Happy Normal was too hard for me and my friend, evil bloaters puking over and killing instantly.

Will be too scared to play it alone, but co-op is fun Smile That is as long as buddy is alive and you're flashlight is on Razz
