Nah, got it working this time Very Happy It was my own sodding fault in the first place, heh, as I was supposed to replace the hex strings "AA 42" with "D8 42" (to get a proper 16:10 FOV) but I accidentally replaced them with "AA D8" >_< Hey, it was 4am and I'm bloody tired .. sue me Laughing

Anyway, proper strings replaced and it's all good now.

Kinda tempted by Star Wars: Empire at War. What do you guys think?

Epsilon: Game is great btw, I love it, so far it's a definite goty. It's remarkable how much has changed since the beta, stardock have been working their asses off, and it shows.

Star Wars - Empire at War: €4.99. Definitely getting that, I really enjoyed it back when it came out... except for the fucking Gungan's and their "god fucking damn it!" shield grids.

Deals;

Max and the Magic Marker: €3.75
Bionic Commando Collection (BC and BC-ReArmed): €10.74
Saint's Row 2: €4.99
Half-Life 2: €2.47
Beat Hazard: €1.74
Borderlands: €10.19
Prototype: €24.99 (WTF?! SRSLY????)
Crysis: €9.99
Day of Defeat Source: €1.99

Now that yesterday's deal is over, have you seen the prices of other games?? Thief 3 (Deadly Shadows) €20!! Are they having a fucking laugh?? €20 for a nearly-seven year old game?? Good Christ...

I'm still spitting about the price of Thief 3 and Titan Quest. €20 each? God fucking god.... Valve are the absolute bane of gaming populace. I can buy T3 *and* TQ+IT together for less than €10. Retail. DVDs. Brand fucking new.

-edit-

I see the "Valve Effect©" is in full swing. What's wrong with the following picture?

Laughing steam is pointless in Europe besides the occasional sales.

Makes me consider buying the DLC's for Borderlands even though I quit playing. I bought the game and 1st DLC, but never picked up the other two. I ended up downloading the game and DLC's and uninstalling Steam and rolling with retail. I'm doubting it's worth it though, as I really don't see anything else coming up for Borderlands, as they are likely working on Borderlands 2.

hmm

Saint's Row 2: €12.49 here.. from 50 price.. seriously , how can that game be still on full price?

no crysis too

there isnt much wrong with 20 euros for tq gold pack, that game is avesome and its 2007 game i think, and its 2 games... obviously you can find better deals.

The Space battles in Empire at War were fantastic. The ground battles..not so much.

I've actually got the DVD for it here somewhere, but I can't remember if I got the EP, if I don't have it, I might pick up the package.

I might finally get borderlands too, for $10, why not?

Any "American" (and 3 other people including me Smile ) interested in buying the 4 pack, and splitting the money ?

It will come out US$ 7.65 / person, then we can pay the purchaser via PayPal, and he can gift the game to us?

Meh.
Too bad for them, I already "have" it.

They want to enforce regional pricing on Steam, they won't have my money.

I remember loving the whole game, though it was exceedingly unbalanced on the ground battles... I mean, those Gungan shield generators were freakin' merciless and let's not forget the Empire being able to call in the bloody DEATH STAR on ground battles Laughing

To my recollection, Borderlands never required a key - just a Gamespy account which is free. So the online "should" still work.
