do you like doing it for other people?

I went to my friends bday party and i swear(TO?) ... I spent majority of the time next to the grill looking out for food...

it seriously can get so much boring, can drink so many beers

I like doing it but maybe for an hour or two..but not frigging spent all night long next to it

but people did liked by food Razz

i dont understand, if people invite other people for BBQ and they expect other people to do it for then?

I don't like to grill because, as you said, it's annoying. You have to watch at the meat and heat... But I do like when others do it and I eat the deliciousness grinhurt

What's the problem? You can always ask someone to switch with you.
You just approach someone and say: "Now you're in charge, and it better come out good or I'll rape your ass with that hot sausage", always works for me when I'm grilling with friends.
But when family comes over, then yeah, I do too much time on the grill. Partly because my aunt doesn't understand my sense of humor Sad

It's awesome man! In fact, when you're the grillmaster you ARE the man! I hate getting burnt/raw food so if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. That is ofcourse if you know what you're doing. Plus if you're the man

1. You're sure to get fed. Smug

2. You can make sure your friends get fed. Smug

3. You could build your own little party by the grill. Smug

We do it a lot here with friends in summer, I've never seen one man doing it for hours and hours. People just take over, no one asks or assigns tasks. Did no one there ask you to take a seat for a while? What a bunch of assholes Razz Grilling is fun, unless you have to sit there for hours while others are enjoying the food.

So you're an idiot is what you're saying?

If you stand there for four hours, that's your decision.

He said 'grilling'. Never expected someone who knows about indirect heat to confuse the two. Razz

The only problem with grill is that you stink as a steak after it. Otherwise grill is the best food you can make on the planet.

Master grilling is truly an art, and you have to have a passion for it. Working a hot grill
fast cooking for lots of people sucks. Hog roasting, or slow smoking is a blast. If you know
what you are doing, every hour to second makes a difference. A 24 hour rib smoke, you
couldnt afford to pay the wages of a working chef. But when someone takes that time
just because they love doing it. Priceless dining to be sure. You know you got it right
when the next day, you rip a fart, and people comment about someone BBQing, and
how they want some. Cool Face

I love it.. but not for 4 hours.. I can cook meat for ~2 hours, then I just want to sit down, have some beers and eat the goods (with plenty of Smoked Chipotle Tabasco, it's Ambrosia for grilled meat).
