I have a fucking problem - i opened a door and then later i died from the traps and i returned at the checkpoint and i can't get back to the switch to open the door again......

I have the same problem. I hear the sound of the door opening but it doesn't open.

Me too !! opened a door via those switch gold bars and went through he door but died just after on a stupid spiked thinggy that goes up and down , now i load back to the checkpoint just before the the door, but the door is closed ! and theres no way to go back to that gold bar that triggers the door, cant go back to another checkpoint either i tried everything im screwed dont wanna start over crack bug ?

have a try this way to fix it:
“pause the game and choose the lower difficulty in optiion”

That's it! Maybe they (skidrow) finished the game in easy? I started the game at hard mode.

I think the change itself is what is important, not the difficulty level itself.  |

So it's confirmed the trigger is dismissed after we lower the difficulty at that point? Can we increase the difficulty level post that?

another solution besides changing difficulty (but I haven't test it )
1. you must have the chinese girl's crackV2 & Skidrow' crack
2. copy Skidrow.ini and ubiorbitapi_r2.dll to "C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher"
3. copy chinese girl's crack to installation directory and overwrite "the Skidrow's crack
PS: thanks for reporting , if you try this way ,please backup original Skidrow.ini & ubiorbitapi_r2.dll before. otherwise maybe make your AC2 Saves disappear

It doesn't erase them, you just need to put the other DLL back, and they'll be there.

From what I read they simplified the combat system, removing the whole free-form combat that was in Warrior Within and Two Thrones in favour of just basic moves. Haven't tried the game of course, but it sounds like a shame.

Am I completely blind or are there absolutely no video options whatsoever available? I can't even seem to find where to change resolution!
The audio/video options list useless shit like subtitles and brightness, no resolution or anything.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

There is no hard mode. There is only Easy and Normal.
@Immunity Click GameSettings.exe if the Ubisoft Laucher isn't started in the Skidrow release. In the retail, there is a game settings button in the launcher.

I have a problem with the game the deal is it won't start it launches and just sits on black screen and it's loading... and nothing happens i checked in task manager and it's not responding copied the crack in the install dir and the .dll file and the .ini in the ubisoft game launcher dir tried copying everything in the install folder but with no luck can some one help ?
btw my specs are AMD A64 3400+, HD 2600XT AGP, 2GB ram

make sure ur card specs are compatible.. |
I think they are in the system check in the game settings everything checks out and in the readme it doesn't say anything about AGP not being supported

run the game in win95 compatibility.
still no other workarounds for the door..? Lowering the difficulty is unacceptable for me. Im not going to play this on easy.. its easy enough on normal.
