True. Everyone who don't believe in life on other planets, at least life without intelligence must be über religious or ignorant somehow, just look at this picture. Alone... Don't think so.

It's not that easy. The aliens have probably surveiled us for some thousands years (several scripts and signs from the Egyptians, Mayans and the Inchas indicate that). From what they have collected they are probably seeing us as a very violent and territorial creature. They may not communicate the same way we do, they may not have the same view on things like we do. Would you expect them to knock on your door just like that and say "Hello earthling let us be friends and fiest!". The average Joe would probably be scared to shit and pick up his shotgun and shoot the poor guy. They are probably very eager to communicate with us or make their presence acknowledged but they are probably very afraid to ignite any hostile acts from our side.
And please, they are not green. They are grey!

- i think its possible for other life, dont really think it will be intelligent, just like animals. our planet had just simple animals for million of years.
- i doubt that there are uber intelligent aliens that come to probe us, moehaha
- even if they are uber intelligent why would they come here lol (joke)
- i am absolutly certain that a alien would look nothing like us. maybe something that would be really hard to comprehend, maybe not. maybe giants, maybe petits
i hate all those reports from lightflashes and ufos. how can anyone think thats true. i also read a post here saying 37 different species or something. that would mean they all are supersmart and they all just happened to stop by. no they can see us from their planet, somethings are impossible, even if they had a supertelescope thingie they cant search trillions and trilluins of worlds
just planets filled with animals would be more likely

It's called evolution. We evolved from the mammals that survived and became stronger after the dinosaurs died out. The chance of it happening elsewhere is not exactly impossible.
Why they would come here? Ask yourself why NASA, ESA and all other space agencies are exploring space and why they are eager to reach other planets.
Yes It's true that most of them wouldn't look like us or even be based on carbon but as I said before there is a possibility.
Why wouldn't they be able to see us when we are able to detect planets in other solar systems already in our time with the Doppler effect? Scientists at SETI are detecting new planets every week and some solar systems are very similar to ours.
How do you explain the Nasa transmission tapes and all other videos where you can see vehicles pulling G:s that no man would be able to do with current techniques.

Don't say that. The show is actually very good but there's no real way I would associate that show with reality. You could at least have said X-Files.

The doppler effect has no direct relation to the 'age' of the radiation, but is in fact just attenuation of the frequency due to velocity of the origin.
In actuality, the light that would reach these alien planets would display no indication of sentient life.

i dont doubt people have landed on the moon now but i do believe that the russians were first there and the 1969 landing was just so the us could win the "space race".

Well in that case most discussion are pointless.
We're not having this discussion expecting a resolution, it's just for fun. We can all just present our opinons and the 'evidence' that made us come to this conclusion. Some people might even change their outlook after seeing why other people believe what they do.

Lacking of a resolution does not mean that the discussion is pointless. The point is to open peoples eyes. The problem is that people are so narrow minded these days. People need to look out more, for truth, alternatives, other point of views and so on.
An example. Just look at those MS lovers who are bashing Linux. People say that It's not ready for the desktop when there are tons of good userfriendly apps and the new user environments are even more pleasant to use than the Windows explorer interface. It's free, secure, fast, stable, supported by agencies and so on. And poor those who go to the shops and buy a new computer and expect everything to run perfect. They get infected with virus, spyware, trojans, etc just some hours after powering them on.
And then we have the ones who believe that aliens are movie made figures and that all the current proof is just bull shit. Many of us have been to brain washed with all the invasion movies and so on.
People are so controlled by stores, tv, radio, newspapers, announcements and so on.

I've seen about 15 minutes so far and there are a lot of thoughtraising questions. Like why did the plane that crashed into one of the towers seem to have no windows and looked more like a military plane than a normal commercial airliner.

ufo's does not exist (glitches between the frames on a VHS tape proves nada).
