According to the previews and interviews, all the UI is placeholder. The game WILL, apparently, have a full and proper inventory system.

Interesting. Hard to really judge properly from the cam. The guy was obviously playing the shoot em up Splinter Cell style. Inventory and shit looks super streamlined, but I guess that had to be expected in this day and age. The constant switching between 1st and 3rd person was a bit bizarre too. But it still looks promising, especially the atmosphere and and social system.
Edit: Place holder inventory? Ah, hopefully it won't be so console derped in the finished game then.

The atmosphere is terrific, as well as the sensation of being part of an alive futuristic world. The characters seems overall very well animated and "dynamic", and looks that the dialogues are going to the right direction in terms of interactivity and possible choices (but I'll wait for a clearer video to discuss about this).
And the gameplay? It certainly looks much more on the theatrical way, with a very powerful (maybe too much?) protagonist, capable to perform multiple kills with a single action, cloack between the enemy lines without being noticed, smash walls with a punch, strangle the enemy and then kill/take down guards with a lethal stealth move. Plus there's the covering system, but appeared quite noninvasive and "well-made" even if I'm not exactly a fan of it.
Overall, I liked very much what I've seen  , even if the game is obiouvsly more arcade* than DE1.
*according to the devs the term arcade means "modern" and "sexy" though.

Also am i forgetting something? Why does Tracer Tong have a mech arm? And why does he look so much older than his DeusEx 1 self even though it's a prequel. I was kinda hoping to see a young up-and-coming hacker Tong. This guy looks like a washed up Solid Snake.

God I hate that stupid douche from screwattack. Man his voice is so annoying and he never has a clue about what he talks about. Either way from what that retard said it seemed like my hopes went down quite a bit.

most of the clip was just showing off moves
looks a lot like a standard cover shooter in the few scenes we saw regular gunplay
not that i mind much but it is still a console sellout move and 'cheating'
i'll reserve my judgement for now
but it does look nice
