Played 20 minutes of it, finally! 
It's not that bad, indeed MW2 done right, and even with the unlock perks and what not, it's nothing bullshit like Predator, UAV and nuke shit.

I don't see any option to add friends in the console shitty menus... 
There "Play with friends" but... 
But yeah, it's really the same feeling as Bad Company 2, which I liked, but not sure yet if I'm willing to shell cash for again. I guess it would require "testing" the single player and seeing the number of maps available that would convince me.

Likewise, my friend, likewise. I've yet to buy BC2 - but I did enjoy the beta, so it's definitely on the cards. I'm also on the fence about this too. It's more frantic, like MW2, but has the gameplay feel of BC2 which isn't a truly terrible offence. I'll probably snag a cheap key from a warehouse.

The heck...just received an email from a lead producer at EA online, asking about my experience redeeming the code form them. Supposedly they need assistance in figuring this mess out. Anyone else got this?

Put my code in the redeem form at the official beta site (after logging in of course), selected PC, blank black space where my key should be. Can't try it again because it tells me "code already used". They didn't email it to me, it's not listed anywhere on my EA account, nothing. EA screws up once again

That´s because only bc2 owners can play it, otherwise you´ll have to until the 21.
