is this anygood ive never done card games like this closest of any similarity was in vanguard mmo.. but the quality of the game looks good at least.. would i be able to pick up whats what and learn it fine if im not a magic gathering card extrordinaire?

i cant edit my deck, crack related? cant see the cards in edit mode and it cant do anything. can anyone use this feature?
btw, for a magic game this one kinda sucks, doesnt offer anything more then the game itself. AI is also lacking (I dont play magic and i noticed, says everything i think), ai didnt use some attacks with creatures that i couldnt block and could do damage to me.

you can only switch out unlocked cards, every "base" deck is permanent
and about the AI not attacking...you do know that if you attack with a creature, you can't block with it next turn, do you?  |
i dont see any cards in the edit deck screen, only blackness and 2 arrows, cant be how it is supposed to be. seems like a graphics bug but that seems unlikely cause the main game runs fine.
and im tallking about oppent creatures that do not block or attact for several turns, that could do damage, perhaps it is because of the difficulty setting though (mage), but still, looks a bit stupid.

Oh my goodness im going to go insane with this game.
The decks are godawful (without even getting starting with the choice of the individual cards themselves, who has THAT much lands and bothers with oneoffs?) and you can't really edit them beyond swapping predetermined cards in and out.
Maybe I should give magic the gathering online a try, any of you lot play that?

seems your game is fubar...btw, the difficulty setting only affects how "lucky" the AI is when it comes to drawing powerful cards
@tskiller: hou have to keep in mind it's meant for newbies
i played MTGO for a while...horrid interface, but it's quite nice

Are you sure about diffuculty only making AI cheat a bit?
It would explain my duel agaist that blue prevent opponent, he destroyed my whole attack with 4 counter spells in about 5 turns, and I already got him to only couple of life points.

Hey, just because the game is for noobs doesn't mean the decks need to be bad. In fact, they should be even more well built, otherwise how are the new players going to learn?

You don't need super decks, important thing is that all avalable decks are balanced and fun to play.

But they aren't balanced. I haven't seen them all yet but the green and green black decks are almost playable, if they weren't mana flooded. The blue and white decks are nigh unusable.
Since most of the cards in all of the decks are one or two offs, they are so inconsistent its impossible to predict how they will play out.
I'm not saying you need tournament quality decks, but they should at the very least be mechanically sound and consistent enough to have an actual playstyle. It's not fun for noobs or experienced players to topdeck land three turns in a row when you already have eight and your most expensive spell costs five.

The point of decks is that they are a bit weak at start, and when you unlock extra cards they get stronger also. Thats also the reason you have so many land cards with starters.
And I'm nost sure what blue deck you are talking about, but the first that you get is crazy. You have whole arsenal of counter spells and flying creatrues. I had serious trouble against AI with that deck.

that doesnt mean that the deck is good; the AI doesnt play by the same 'random' rules as you. depending on the difficulty they have a decent/good/great run of cards. its not like they are ever getting 20 lands in a row, as can happen to the player
however, ive been playing this game a LOT today and i must say most of the decks are quite fun to play with a few unlocks

id like to go on with the game on my laptop (since the game itself is not so heavy for a laptop, thank god) without the hassle to restart from the beginning ^_^

Sigh, this game is plain ridiculous.
I NEVER seem to draw the card i need in my hand. Absolutely NEVER. Its like i almost never have any land cards or not a single monster card. In the mean time the AI always manages to have the hand which he needs... Thats on medium.. And its not like i can rearrange my deck to have the cards i need..
Also some of the opponents are way to stron against any of my shit decks with their insta spell destroying card or ""creature gains +X for every freakin land card""
p.s. anyone knows any other online TCG free to play game ? I cant find any decent one aside http://www.warstorm.com/

While I apparently get my ass kicked no matter what by the second campaign enemy (seriously? how am I supposed to counter flying enemies if almost none of my cards have flying or reach? O.o)
I actually decided to buy this because it's fun (then again I enjoy the Yu-Gi-Oh games though they _never_ teach you how to play so they are nigh unplayable for newbies, imo).
This is definitely a game that goes on my laptop for boring classees or long train rides etc.
