The original thing about bitching about scripting is pretty stupid if you ask me considering the technology for the sort of AI people are asking for hasn't even been developed yet. Yes there is advanced AI and the likes but for atmospheric effects what is the point in developing AI to do it when scripts will do the job fine. Especially when about 0.00001% of the userbase is going to noclip and try to save that guy.

Dryan as pointed out it has nothing to do with the fact they are scripted, but how they are. Operation Flashpoint is scripted for example.

animalmother thinks everyone is bitching about games but hes the one bitching at anyone who try to express their opinions. I tried first to ask how brothers in arm will be, linearly speaking, asking if it was going to be like moh and cod, and I said that I didnt like those game because of the same reasons others explained here.. then he started to flame at me like hes the project manager for this release.. so dont even try to say something negative here, unless you wanna have a nobody telling youre nothing else than a 'never satisfied' person.
Well fyi, some are satisfied with gameboy's game, others dont. it's a question of what you like, and what you dont. Personally flashpoint is not even something to compare with cod or moh. Totally different kind of game. But still, even tho I said that OFP is a great game, I'm still a 'never satisfied' person, in a nobody's mind ; what a shame phe.
In the end, someone that doesnt understand that peoples are different cause they like different things are way too straightminded to live in society, so they need to be known somewhere else and yet, they endup beeing known as a a$$fuc|<. Good job dude

Why write a post as if you're narrating a story to the other forum members? Trying to get them on your side?
Anyway, my post to you basically said, stop bitching about how much you hate this game and go play something else. If you think any game which is scripted 'suck' then why bother bitching about it? It's a fundamental aspect of these games, it's not going to change, not for a long time.
Btw, don't flatter yourself thinking that any of my subsequent posts were directed at you, because they were not. You're not worth my time, your posts are bairly coherent. My discussion ended with you after the first post.
