yeah im gonna say it, i enjoyed atlantis, primarily for the main character who was semi-channeling farscapes crichton, (probably why i liked him so much) and also that rodney dude was done spot-on and i really like hewlett too, so yeah... atlantis, even if i look at it purely from liking JUST those two characters, shits all over universe... i mean 2 likable characters beats universes NO likeable characters.... the show really doesnt have ANY redeeming characters (theyre all unlikable douchebags, and as much as i like carlyle, hes just insufferable in this), and so far the stories have just been shitting themselves retarded.

so yay for cliff hanger endings. i reckon they have alrdy filmed next years opening or did they just film it when they did this years season finale? Next year will be about trying to turn the evil lucien alliance people over to our side and create some civil war in their ranks i reckon.

hmm Ben Browder (Crichton) was in sg1, not Atlantis^^

i said the main actor in atlantis was channeling the character - wasnt talking about the actor FROM farscape being in atlantis not sg1. 
browder joining sg1 was the only thing that made me bother to come back to sg1.. sucks that they canceled it JUST as it was becoming worth watching again

So you watch every show that airs? Just rewatch your favorite show. Babylon 5 has enough episodes to keep you busy for a long time. So does Galactica. So do so many other shows. Even Caprica is a lot better than SGU. This one is just garbage, and watching it by default because there is nothing else on air is what actually keeps it on the air, instead of replacing it with a quality show.

@Frant Well Stargate shows have always been bad, but yeah, this is a horrible show.  They tried to pull a BSG with this one and obviously failed hard with retarded characters, laughable plots and so on.

Heretic! SG1 was bad? It was light hearted and comedic at its peak. The worst decision for this show was to make it spaceship centric. Stargate to me was always exploration and finding out strange cultures. SG1 was great because of that. SGA centered on the Wraith too much and SGU is plain boring.

Strangely I kind of like the series even this newest installment. I just hope at one point it will stop beeing about surviving the most basic problems and instead aim towards a more technological and explorative standpoint.
